RWBY: Remnants Hybrid (Yang Xiao Long x Male Reader)

Vol. 7 Part 5: Battle of The Heroes

No One's POV:

The entire group, accompanied by Qrow, are now in Mantle fighting hordes of Grimm. The Ace Ops  were supposed to meet them there to aid them, but they never showed. Now the protection of the people lies with them.

Currently, Blake is running from a Megoliath and three Ursai. Two of the Ursai run to either side of the Megoliath, while the third runs behind the Megoliath's hind leg. The Ursa behind the Megoliath shoves one of the other Ursai out of the way. It then attempts to tackle Blake, but she draws her sword and uses Dust to create a fire clone with her semblance. Upon impact with the fire clone, the Ursa catches on fire and dies. The second Ursa attempts to tackle Blake, and she creates a lightning clone, moving to the other side of the street. As the third Ursa leaps to tackle her, she creates an ice clone, turns around in mid-air and fires her gun at the Ursa's head. The Ursa smashes into the ice clone, tumbles on the ground and is crushed to death under the Megoliath's foot.

Blake turns a corner and keeps running. Due to its momentum, the Megoliath is only able to make a wide turn around the corner, which causes it to slam into a building, breaking the windows on the ground floor and shaking loose some of the accumulated snow. With an angry trumpet, it continues to chase Blake. Just as it swings its trunk, she uses her Semblance to dodge, and it runs straight toward Yang, who uses her gauntlets to force herself into the air until she is eye-level with the Megoliath. She then uses her gauntlets once again to deliver a barrage of punches to its face. She then preforms a somersault over it. Her attack seems unsuccessful, however at a second glance, dozens of Yang's bombs are stuck to its face and detonate, blowing it to smithereens. Blake turns to some civilians who are hiding behind a toppled car.

Blake: Head to the nearest shelter!

The civilians run away.

Yang: Those shelters are gonna fill up soon.

Ruby then uses her semblance to make her way over the roof tops until she by Blake's and Yang's side

Ruby: They're all we've got. We just have to hold off the Grimm.

Yang: Gods (Y/N), where are you?

Meanwhile:

In an emergency shelter, you can be seen in your Grimm clawing through guard after guard. One of which, shot you in the back. You then quickly turned around and stabbed him in the stomach with your claws. Pinning him down as you take his life.

Suddenly, you were struck in the shoulder by a crossbow bolt. You reached over and ripped it out and turned to see the happy huntresses, along with Robyn and Qrow, who had a destroyed expression.

Qrow: I didn't what to believe it. How could you do this?

(Y/N): I'm doing what must be done Qrow. I thought you of all people would understand.

Qrow: Would Yang understand?

(Y/N): She will. She has too.

Qrow: Not when she learns the truth.

(Y/N): You will not take her from me!

Qrow: You've already allowed that to happen!

(Y/N): I am creating a better world for my son!!

Qrow: "A better world"!?!

(Y/N): Don't make me kill you.

Qrow: Don't do this (Y/N). Please.

(Y/N): If you're not with me, then you are my enemy.

Qrow: (sigh) Then I will do what I must.

You growled and pounced at Qrow. He quickly shifted his weapon to its scythe form and jumped to meet you. The two of you collided but you overpowered Qrow and pushed him back down and rolling across the ground. Robyn shot at you and you simply swatted the bolt away. You went in to slash but Joanna and May used there crossbows in staff mode to deflect your attack and push you back. Once you landed on the ground, you quickly fired a powerful stream of fire from your mouth. Robyn and May were able to jump out of the way in time, but Joanna was a little too slow, and she got hit directly by the fire. Her aura held up, but she still got burned. Qrow rushed back in and stabbed you straight through the chest then quickly removed the blade and sliced off your arm. Robyn then used this and shot you in the neck with a ice bolt. On contact, ice blew out the back of your neck and skull. Your remaining arm knocked Qrow back, causing him to drop his scythe. When he gets up, he sees your head repair itself and grow a new arm. You then kick his weapon back to him.
