A brutal man named Lucian had just escaped from the police. His crimes and cruelty were among the worst of the worst. And today, he was about to meet someone who would change his life forever.
Lucian has returned to his safe house. When he turned on the light to the pitch black room he saw someone sitting in a chair, facing away from him. He equipped his blades, ready for a fight.
Lucian: Who are you?!
The chair turns to reveal a pale-skinned woman with white hair and red eyes.
Salem: Hello Lucian. I like your home.
Lucian: What do you want?!
Salem: Where are my manners? My name is Salem, and I'm here to recruit new talent.
Lucian's guard dropped, but only slightly.
Lucian: "Recruit"?
Salem: You've spent a long time trying to gain power, and you've done well for yourself. But what if you could gain that power now?
Lucian was no fool, he who and what to trust. But his thirst for power was stronger then his common sense. So he dropped his guard.
Lucian: I'm listening.
Salem approached him with a seductive stride.
Salem: Come with me.
Time Skip:
It's been a few months since Salem recruited Lucian to her cause, although she did so secretly from the rest of her lapdogs.
Currently, Salem was in her personal chambers, wearing a long black robe. Lucian has only just returned from an assignment and was summoned to her chamber. He only just walked inside and approached.
Lucian: You called? What do you need?
Salem then simply turned around to face him. She then let her robe fall, revealing her in her naked glory.
Salem: What I need is for you to satisfy your queen~
Lucian didn't respond. Instead, he immediately started to strip and tackle Salem onto her bed, where they would make love for the rest of the night.
Time Skip, One Week:
Salem and Lucian were currently in Salem's throne room, where Salem has just revealed that she's pregnant with Lucian's child. Lucian could not appear to be more disgusted. The same goes for Salem, or so it would seem.
Lucian: Why not just cut it out now?!
Salem: Because it's inside my body, so it will just heal. We can only kill it once it's out.
Lucian: WHAT?! That thing in your womb is an-
Suddenly, Lucian's body becomes surrounded by black energy and force up and towards Salem, who seemed to be the cause.
Salem: I understand that you are distraught. But I would advise you to watch your tone.
Lucian just looks down and away until he is dropped.
Salem: Now, let's be patient, shall we lover?
9 Months Later:
Salem was currently laying in her bed in labor. Lucian was standing next to her, with one of his blades in his hand ready to deliver the fatal blow. With one final push, you are finally brought into this world, but so is a powerful wave of energy that knocks Lucian back and against the wall, as he falls to the floor unconscious, just as Salem intended.
Salem then looks down to see the crying newborn laying between her legs. She gently bends over to lift you up and cradle you in her arms.
Salem: A son. I had hoped for one with Ozma long ago. If only your sisters could be here.
She holds you close as she tries to soothe your crying.
Salem: Shhh, it's ok now. I won't let your father hurt you.
Salem then rises from her bed and makes her way outside of her castle.
Once outside, Salem approaches one of the many pools of Grimm and moves her arms away from you, but you remain in the air floating. Salem then begins to summon much of her power, as well as some of the black substance from the pool beneath you. All of it begins to surround you as your body and soul are altered...

The process passes quickly, as the energy that surrounds you fades, and it appears that you are no different, but much has now changed.
Salem takes you back into her arms as she cradles you once again. And with a wave of her arm, Salem calls for a Saint Bernard-sized Nevermore. She wraps you in a part of her robe which she ripped off.
Salem: Ah, almost forgot.
Salem then pressed her finger against the back of your head. And from her finger, black magic seeps into your mind and your eyes momentarily glow a similar red to hers.
Salem: That should make you much more compliant when the time comes.
She then hands you off to the Nevermore, which gently wraps you in its talons and Carrie's you off to who knows where.
Back inside, some time has passed and Lucian has regained consciousness. He then looks to see Salem laying on her bed, as if she had never moved from that spot. Lucian quickly rushed to her side.
Lucian: What happened?!
Salem: I.. I don't know. Someone took the baby...
Lucian: What?! I will find them!
Salem: You better.
Time Skip, 6 Years Later:
It took many years, but Lucian has finally found the location of where his son has been all this time. He has already disposed of his adoptive mother, and his adoptive father was now at his mercy, being lifted into the air by the throat.
Lucian: One last time; Where is the boy!?!
Michael: I- I'll never tell.
Lucian: I believe you.
Lucian then drove his blade into Michael's chest.
Time Skip, 19 Years Later:
Salem was currently preparing a Sphinx with a chess piece.
Salem: Now go, find my son and give him a challenge.
The sphinx then flies off.
All of (Y/N)'s life has been manipulated and planned from the start.
Everything, a test, a challenge, to make him stronger.
And how, we come full circle to the event that Salem has been planning the moment (Y/N) was conceived.
Her influence over you is more then just the queen of Grimm controlling another pawn. She knew the risk of creating you would lead to you being more powerful than herself, so she imbedded her control into your mind at a point in your life where your brain was too fragile to protect itself.
