No one's POV:
The rest of your friends had returned from the base, and clearly Jaune, Nora and Ren where brought up to speed. Jaune was taking it the worst, which was demonstrated when he punched the wall.
(Y/N): Jaune! Knock it off!
Jaune: Everything we did was for nothing!
Blake: That's not true.
Nora: (angry) Really? Cuz it sure does sound like it.
Blake: I, um...
Ren: If Salem can't be killed, then how are we supposed to win this?
Everyone remains silent.
Jaune: (sarcastic) Wow... Great plan everyone!
Jaune was starting to get under your skin.
Oscar: Look, none of this is great, we know. But we're not the bad guys here.
Jaune: (hostile) Are we sure about that?
Oscar: What?
Jaune: He's in your head, isn't he? Did you already know about this? (angrily walks over to Oscar)
Weiss: He didn't know any of it!
Jaune: (grabs Oscar and shoves him against the wall) How much longer can we even trust him?!
Yang: Jaune!
Jaune: How do we even know it's really him?! What if we have been talking to that liar this whole time?!
Ruby: Jaune!
Everyone try's to get between Jaune and Oscar, but you've had enough. You pushed everyone out of your way until you grabbed Jaune and ripped him away.
(Y/N): That's enough!!
Jaune: Or what monster?!
This got your blood boiling, and everyone noticed. But you tried to keep calm.
(Y/N): I don't have the patience to deal with you.
You turned and walked away towards the door. But Jaune just wouldn't quit and went to grab you.
Jaune: Don't walk away when I'm talking to you!!
You felt Jaune grab your shoulder. This sent you over the edge. You quickly turned around and swatted him away, not knowing that your anger had resulted in the retraction of your claws as you slashed him across his chest.
Jaune: AAHH!!!
He went down on his back, clenching the bloody claw marks as he rolled around in pain. The others quickly attend to him and put pressure on his new wounds, except for Yang, who looks at you in shock. Meanwhile, you looked down to see your friend's blood on your claws. Horrified by what you've done, you quickly made your way outside.
Time Skip, Yang's POV:
Jaune was now resting, and (Y/N) hasn't come back inside. Last I saw him he was just sitting out there on the porch. Saphron made lunch for everyone and I decided to take some food out for him. I opened the door.
Yang: Hey (Y/N), I got you some-
Wait, he's gone! Where did he go?!
I ran back inside to the others.
Yang: Guys! (Y/N)'s gone!
Ruby came in from the backyard.
Ruby: What's going on?!
Yang: It's (Y/N) he's gone!
Weiss: What! Where did he go?!
Meanwhile, Your POV:
I was walking through town, trying to contemplate what to do next. It seems like I only ever hurt the people I care about. How am I supposed to be a father if I still lose control.
I'm walking through the town square now. This really is a nice town, makes me wonder where we should raise Arian... that is if we actually get the chance.
I wanted to head back, but something caught my eye. It looked like a statue... wait.
I walked up to it and that's when I realized.
Pyrrha
I walked up to the statue. It really is a beautiful work of art.
I was standing right in front of it.
(Y/N): I... I have something to say... I should've said it when you were here but... I always had nothing but respect for you. You showed me how to find the light, even in the greatest darkness... I miss you.
Yang: (Y/N)!
I turned to see Yang run up to me and trap me in a hug.
Yang: Where were you? Why did you go!
(Y/N): I just needed to think on some things.
Yang then loosened her grip and gazes upon the statue.
Yang: I wish she was here.
(Y/N): Yeah... me too. But she gave us an important example to live by.
Yang: That she did.
Time Skip:
Yang and I made it back to the house. Once we walked through the door, our friends swarmed us.
Everyone: (Y/N)!!!
Ruby: Where have you been?!
(Y/N): I... needed some space.
I then looked through the group to see Jaune. He's shirtless and bandaged and he didn't look like he wanted to talk.
Jaune: Well, if we're done, I think I have an idea on how to get to Atlas. But... it's sort of a "no-going-back" kind of idea.
Ruby: Well, let's hear it.
Jaune: With Cordo on watch, only Atlas airships have the clearance to leave for Solitas. So... we... steal an Atlas airship. (nervously shrugs at his last statement)
Well, that wasn't what I expected.
(Y/N): I like that idea actually.
Weiss: Are you kidding? That's not just breaking the law. That's... that's definitely worse.
Yang: How would we even get onto the airfield?
Jaune: That part I haven't quite figured out yet. But I-
Qrow: Ok, stop. Just... stop! Look, if this thing goes south, it's not something we can just fight our way out of. This is the Atlas Military we're talking about. (sighs) For your sake, just drop this.
Ruby: I want to hear him out.
Qrow: Ruby-
Ruby: I want to hear him out! I know you're trying to protect us, that you're afraid we can't do it, but right now, I don't really care what you think!
Huh? Our little Ruby is growing up.
Ruby: Just because you don't have an idea, doesn't mean we're out of options! Oz hasn't been here to tell us what to do, but we still managed to get this far anyway. We've been in bad situations before, and we don't need an adult to come save us or tell us what to do. We just did it our way! And I say we do it our way. (everyone smiles) And if you think you can keep up with us "kids"... we'd be happy to have you.
Qrow just looks down sadly.
Maria: (laughs) Looks like you didn't give her enough credit either.
(Y/N): Certainty of death... small chance of success... what are we waiting for?
