Vol. 2 Part 1: Plans

No one's POV:

An Ursa was walking through the forest. It was wandering about, only for something to grab it's back legs from behind. It was then swung around and thrown into a couple trees. When it regained its footing and faced its attacker, it was faced with you. It charged, but so did you. It opened its jaws and went to bite you. However, you grabbed its top and bottom jaw with each hand. You then forced it to the ground and ripped its jaws open, tearing its head in half. You then dropped the body to the ground and watched as it turned to smoke. You then fell to your knee. Not out of pain, but out of exhaustion.

(Y/N): That makes 40.

You've been sneaking out of the dorms the last few nights hunting and killing as many Grimm as you could find. As for right now, you have just killed your final one. It has to be seeing as the sun was finally beginning to rise. You stood up and made your way back to Beacon. As you were walking, you felt your scroll vibrate in your pocket and when you took it out, you saw a message from Yang.

Yang: Hey where are you?! You just missed the coolest food fight ever!

(Y/N): Thought I'd go for a walk.

Yang: When's the last time you had fun?

(Y/N): I have fun!

Yang: When? Tell me the last time you did something actually fun?

You stopped and thought.

(Y/N): Ok fine. Maybe I don't.

Yang: We need to change that. Maybe we can do something fun tomorrow night.

You thought about it for a moment. The two of you had decided that your better off as just friends.

(Y/N): All right. What do you have in mind?

Yang: There's this club in town we could go to. They have pretty good strawberry sunrise!

(Y/N): Sounds fun. I'll head back now.

Yang: We're in the library.

(Y/N): See you soon.

You continue walking back to Beacon.

Time skip:

You finally made your way to the library. When you walked in, you looked around until you saw your friends sitting to the right. It looked like team RWBY was playing some sort of board game.

Ruby: Hmmmmm.... All right... All right! Yang Xiao Long, prepare your kingdom for battle!

Yang: Bring it on!

Ruby: I deploy the Atlesian Air Fleet! (Slaps her card down on the table) Looks like I get to fly right over your Ursai and attack your walls directly!

Yang: You fiend!

Ruby: And since Atlas is part of Mantle, my repair time is only one turn.

Yang: (raises a card.) Pretty sneaky, sis, but you just activated my trap card!

Ruby: Whaaat?!

Yang: Giant Nevermore! (She slams the card down) If I roll a seven or higher, fatal feathers will slice your fleet in two!

Ruby: (points at Yang.) But, if you roll a six or lower, the Nevermore will turn on your own forces!

Yang: That's just a chance I'm willing to take.
