No one's POV:
You were walking along campus grounds, accompanied by your new friends.
Jaune: All I'm saying is that motion sickness is a much more common problem than people let on!
(Y/N): Yeah yeah, sure it is.
Ruby: Look, we're sorry! Vomit Boy was the first thing that came to mind.
Jaune: Oh, yeah? What if I called you Crater Face?
Ruby: Hey, that explosion was an accident!
He then looks at you.
Jaune: And what if I called you...
You gave him a death glare.
Jaune: Uhh... a nice guy, who hopefully won't beat me to a pulp. Well, the name's Jaune Arc! Short, sweet, rolls off the tongue. Ladies love it!
(Y/N)/Ruby: Do they?
Jaune: They will! Well, I hope they will. My mom always says that... Never mind.
Ruby: So... I got this thing! (she pulls out Crescent Rose and stabs it into the ground)
She then pulls out a giant site and steps the tip of the blade into the ground. This causes the both you and Jaune to look in awe.
Jaune: Whoa! Is that a scythe?
Ruby: It's also a customizable high-impact sniper rifle!
Jaune: A what?
(Y/N): It's also a gun, Jaune.
Jaune: Oh. That's cool!
Ruby: So what do you guys have?
Jaune: Oh! I, uh... I got this sword!
Jaune then takes out a simple sword.
Ruby: Ooooohh!
Jaune: Yeah, and I've got a shield, too!
He then reaches for his back and takes out a shield.
(Y/N): Do they do anything?
Jaune: The shield gets smaller, so when I get tired of carrying it, I can just... put it away.
Ruby: But... wouldn't it weigh the same?
Jaune: Yeah, it does.
Ruby: What about you (Y/N)?
(Y/N): Oh, well I don't have a weapon. I just stick with hand-to-hand.
Ruby: That's cool too. My sister is kinda like that. Well, I'm kind of a dork when it comes to weapons, so... I guess I did go a little overboard when designing it.
Jaune: Wait, you made that?!
Ruby: Of course! All students at Signal forge their own weapons! Didn't you make yours?
Jaune: Actually, it's a hand-me-down. My great-great-grandfather used it to fight in the war.
Ruby: Sounds more like a family heirloom to me
(Y/N): Still pretty cool.
Ruby: Yeah! Not many people have an appreciation for the classics these days.
Jaune then put his sword away.
Jaune: Yeah, the classics...
Ruby then looks back at you.
Ruby: So why'd you help me out back there? In the courtyard?
(Y/N): That girl was giving you a hard time and you needed help. That's all there is to it.
