Yang's POV:

We finally made it to Atlas... as prisoners. We were apprehended by this group of huntsmen called the Ace Ops. They brought us to Atlas and now we're stuck in an elevator. The elevator finally opened, and the guards escort us out into a hallway and down a flight of stairs. We arrived in a room to see Ironwood, speaking to someone else.

Ironwood: I swear if I have to sit through one more council meeting like that-

Penny: Yay, you're here!

Penny gave us away and Winter and Ironwood noticed us.

Weiss: Winter.

Before they could have a little sister reunion, Nora interrupted.

Nora: Anyone wanna give us a hand with these (gesturing to her hand cuffs)?

Winter then looked to the guards.

Winter: You have ten seconds to take those off before I start hurting you.

Guards: (looking at each other in confusion) Huh?

The guards frantically begin removing the bolases.

Guard 1: Sorry!

Guard 2: Please, let us help you!

Guard 1: Forgive us!

The bolases fell to the floor, giving off a purple glow and retracting the ropes before emitting a beep noise.

Ironwood: Please, come in.

We followed Ironwood, Winter and Penny into Ironwood's office.

Ironwood: It is so good to see all of you.

Yang: (massaging her wrist) Our reception didn't really convey that.

Ironwood: (sighs) I sincerely regret how you were treated by my team.

Ironwood walked behind his desk to sit down, and Penny and Winter take positions standing at either side of the desk.

Ironwood: When a rogue airship entered our airspace, it raised some... red flags. We assumed the ship was stolen.

Ruby: Stolen?

Ruby laughs awkwardly, before taking an apologetic tone.

Ruby: Okay, yeah, it was stolen.

Well now they are definitely not happy

Winter: You stole an Atlas airship?

Winter: What were you thinking!? You might've been shot down! How unbelievably irresponsib-

Weiss hugged Winter to shut her up.

Weiss: I'm sorry I worried you. But we did what we had to do.

Winter: I... I suppose I understand.

She then turns her head to glare at Qrow.

Winter: But I cannot believe that you allowed this to happen, Qrow.

Qrow: You try stopping these kids when they have their mind set on something.

Yang: There's more. One of us stayed behind to fight a leviathan. We know he killed it, but he was supposed to be right behind us and I-we had hoped he would be here by now.

Ironwood: Was he on another bullhead?

Weiss: No, he flew himself.

Penny: "Flew himself".

Ruby: You see he's a hy-

Yang: It's a lot to explain, but basically he can fly.

Winter: Sensors would have identified any unknown flying object within the vicinity.

Then where is he?

No One's POV:

In the city of Mantle, a figure can be seen swiftly jumping from building to building... an invisible figure.

Do I really have to say who this is.

Eventually, you made your way to a small Atlas base that soldiers were stationed at. Here, they would deploy drones and patrols.

You made your way towards the opposite side where you saw a fuel storage. Opening your mouth, you launched a fireball at it, causing a massive explosion. This destroyed the base, men patrolling the outside were completely taken by surprise as they rush in.

Soldier1: What the hell happened?!?!

Soldier2: I don't know!!

Soldier3: I'll call it in-

SLASH

Soldier3: UGGLL

This throat was slashed wide opened as blood splattered from his neck. The other soldiers aim their guns, but they don't see anything. Suddenly, another soldier appears to have a fist bashed straight through his chest. He then falls to the ground and dead. The last remaining soldier starts to panic until something snaps his neck. Once all the men are dead, you dropped your camouflage. You then raised your left arm to reveal a very small seer that had wrapped itself around your forearm. It crawled its way up to your palm and created a small projection of Salem.

(Y/N): That is the last of them mother.

Salem: We'll done my son.

Flashback:

At an unknown location, Salem was sitting on a throne with her lackeys facing her.

Watts: Is everything alright my queen?

Salem: Things couldn't be better. I would like to introduce you all to someone.

Footsteps could suddenly be heard from behind them. They all turned to see you.

They got ready to fight, until Salem spoke again.

Salem: Allow me to introduce you all to my second in command, and my son, lord Thane.

Emerald: What?!

Mercury: Is this some kind of a joke?!

Salem was certainly unamused by Mercury's tone. But rather then deal with it herself, you approached Mercury, grabbing him and lifting him up off the ground.

(Y/N): You will watch how you speak to her.

Salem: Easy my son, you've already cost us enough men.

You acknowledged your mothers words and dropped the shithead.

Salem: Now, onto business.

Present Day:

You were now standing outside the city, where you had set up a shelter. However, you were interrupted when your thoughts dwelled on a scent that you had picked up on. A scent you were all too familiar with.

Yang.

This must be where they dropped off after they first got here. It was intoxicating, and you wanted nothing more then to go find her, but the mission must come first. Once the council and Ironwood are out of the picture, you will finally be able to create the perfect world for your family.

I'm sorry for the short chapter, but class is still laying the smackdown on my ass. And though I hate to admit it, I don't have a lot of ideas for this volume. If you guys have any recommendations I'd love to hear them.
