RWBY: Remnants Hybrid (Yang Xiao Long x Male Reader)

Vol. 3 Part 1: Round One

No one's POV:

A knock is heard at the door.

Ruby: Yang! Are you in there?!

The door she's knocking on is to your dorm.

Yang: Yes Ruby?

Ruby: What are you doing in there?! Our match is starting soon!

Yang: Sorry! Just getting changed!

Ruby looked at the door in confusion. On the other side, her sister was telling the truth, she simply left out the part as to why. You were there, also getting changed.

Yang: I'm almost done!

Ruby: Well hurry up! We're up soon!

Ruby then walks away towards the rest of her team. Meanwhile Yang wraps her arms around your neck as you wrap yours around her waist.

Yang: I don't want to leave!

(Y/N): I don't want you to leave either but you need to hurry and get to your match.

Yang had an upset expression. But she also knew that you were right. She quickly made her way towards the door, but stopped when she saw that you weren't following her.

Yang: You coming?

(Y/N): I promised someone I would give them a call.

Yang understood.

Yang: One of these days your gonna have to introduce me to this mentor of yours.

(Y/N): I can do that.

Yang then blows you a kiss and walks out the door. Once she's gone, you went to your bathroom and grabbed a hand towel. When your face is fairly clean, you opened your computer and made a video call to Qrow. It rang for a couple seconds before Qrow picked up.

Qrow: Hey wolf. How's it goin?

(Y/N): Actually, pretty great.

Qrow: Does it have something to do with this woman?

(Y/N): Well...

You wipe your mouth in a gesturing manner. Qrow catches on to this and grows a sly smile.

Qrow: You son of a bitch. I've literally never been more proud!

(Y/N): I told you I have Riz.

Qrow: That's what I like to hear. Can't wait to meet this mystery woman. If she's that good in the sack-

(Y/N): Watch it old man. It's not about that. She actually gets me. She really loves me.

Qrow: Does she know about...

(Y/N): ... Yeah, she does. And she still loves me.

Qrow now shows an empathetic smile.

Qrow: I couldn't be happier for you. And as it just so happens I have some business in Vale.

(Y/N): That's great! Hope to see you soon!

Qrow: Same here. And hey, maybe next time before calling me your girlfriend can return the favor for you.

You look at him with wide eyes.

(Y/N): How did you-

Qrow: It's my specialty son.

(Y/N): Thanks dad.

You said that in a sarcastic nature before the two of you hung up. You then immediately get up and make your way out the door and to the arena.

Time skip:

You arrived halfway through the fight. It was a close one, but thanks to their team work and Yang's raw power, they were able to come out on top.
