Estimation

Someone close to me, a blood relative whose name I will not expose here, asked me discreetly about how rich Qing really is? They asked me this when we went to visit some of my relatives while looking for a wedding venue in Heilongjiang.

Anonymous Relative: I mean personally, not including his family's fortune. Him alone, how rich is he, Dayu ah?

Me: I'm not that sure as well, but he's worth about...

And I told my relative Qing's worth, in my own estimation at least. I will reveal here what amount I told my relative, but thats for later. Let me just get things out of the way first.

Okay, first of all...all my relatives are aware that Qing and I, our relationship, is a love match. We are getting married because we are insanely in love with each other. Lets get that out of the way. My relatives know that money is not whats linking Qing and I.

Good. I just want to clarify that my own family doesn't think I am a gold digger. They don't shake their heads when they see Qing and pity him for marrying someone whose after his money. I mean, I am fresh (looking at least), still relatively young young and truly pretty but not that kind.

And besides, whats wrong with being a gold digger? I mean sure, some of their principles and values are questionable but why are we judging people marrying for money? There are way worse reasons for getting married aside from wanting to finally stop worrying about your financial situation. Its not ideal, but thats their hustle and I kinda respect that.

And we will not expand on that anymore so moving on...

Now let me give you a rough estimation of how much Qing is worth.

I am worth around 2 million dollars. More or less, thats how much I am worth. And I am happy with that number. I mean, I work hard for that number. In yuan, thats about 12 million rmb. Keep in mind that I have been working for almost a decade now and I have my savings as well as investments and properties.

So there, I am worth about that much. 2 million dollars.

To give you all an idea of how much Qing is worth. Qing can buy me twenty or so times and he'll still have change on his pockets.

Qing's worth is around 45-50 million dollars. Roughly speaking.

(Cue our mouth falling)

I know. Its a staggering amount for someone whose not even thirty yet. But if you all know that Qing's parents has been investing Qing's money for him since he was fifteen and Qing first received an inheritance from his various wealthy relatives at the age of three...you will not be surprised at that amount. I mean his inheritance from Uncle Stan alone amounted to almost a million dollar.

Qing came from old money. Both from his father and mother side. His whole family has an idea on whose businesses they are related to by blood since, I think, 14th century. They have branched out, thinned out, gathered together again, and continued doing business the way they see fit.

You know, make sure the business is making profits.

Like I have said many times in these journals, they are a bunch of business sharks.

Anyways, those are the numbers. I cannot claim that they are accurate, at least on Qing's side, but thats what I know about his personal wealth. I'm not privy on the exact number on his asset and liability document or something. Now, if you will ask me to calculate how much he will be worth once he got his full inheritance from his parents...I'll refer you all to Qing himself. You can all ask him.
