Valentine's Day this year will fall on a Monday. Qing and I have work scheduled on that day so we will celebrate Valentine's on the weekend before the 14th falls. Qing and I are planning to travel because we will take that time to check on some suggested venues for our wedding.

Yes, our Valentine's will be a busy time for us because we have to check some places to consider as the venue for our wedding. Qing's exams will be on the second week of February, so he told our planners to stop contacting us about the wedding preparations so he can focus on his tests.

For compromise we promised them that we will spend our Valentine's weekend together checking out potential venues. I think its a great deal. We will have a week of rest from coordinating with everyone regarding our wedding and then Qing and I will spend a weekend traveling around. Not bad, if I say so.

But for now its the first week of February and its still cold in my piece of Earth. I start today by boiling some water for lemon and honey tea while firing up my laptop to start checking my emails. I'd say this, as diligent as I am in making sure we have clean bathrooms and our laundry was washed on time, I am not that good at cleaning my inboxes. I sometimes let an email stew in the inbox if its not that important or urgent.

I'm basically a messaging person rather than an email one. Pm or dm me and I will reply quickly but if you email me, you should accompany that with a prayer that I will get it on time.

Speaking of pm's and dm's...

I had an issue with Qing's private and direct messages on his different social media accounts. And like the awkward weird person that I am, those issues arouse during our vacation in Jiuzhaigou. A vacation we have planned and anticipated for weeks on ends, almost ruined because I had a jealous fit.

Now, you know that I am n—

(Not the jealous type. You know, for someone who is not a jealous type, you get jealous quite a lot)

*sigh* I know. Should I stop claiming that I am not a jealous person? I am really not though. At least compared to Qing, I am less jealous than him. Just last Christmas, Qing got jealous of me loving fruit jellies. Imagine that. The man pouted for a half a day, I had no idea why, and when I asked, he said he got hurt when I ignored him offering a bite of his sandwich to me because I was busy enjoying a cup of fruit jelly.

(Surely you jest...Baba wouldn't be like that...)

I wish I am joking but I am not. Your Baba is the type of person who pouts because of that. I'm not making this up. When I heard the reason why he has been ignoring me and pouting for half of the day, acting all cold and surly towards me, I couldn't decide if I am marrying a real psycho or the most adorable person ever. Its fruit jelly, for fuck's sake!

Anyways, I'm not saying that the reason for my jealousy was less ridiculous than Qing's envy of my fruit jellies. I got jealous while reading private and direct messages on your Baba's phone. Maybe I should start from the beginning so all of you could understand.

So back in the last week of November, Qing and I packed a large luggage for a four day trip to Jiuzhaigou. Hey look at me, finally getting to tell you all about our mini vacation last Autumn.

Now, where is Jiuzhaigou, you might all ask. Its on the northwestern side of the country, in the province of Sichuan, a couple of hours away from ChengDu. Its a county of mountains, valleys, streams, forestry...in short, nature. Healing. Which is why Qing and I chose to go there. Because we need some relaxing and healing time.

And we did a little research about the place for weeks on ends. Our research told us that Autumn is the best time to go and visit Jiuzhaigou. So Qing and I lugged ourselves there one Autumn November day to breathed in some fresh air.
