When It Rains

Chapter 9

Previously on 'When It Rains'..
Ocean is having a hard time dealing with her baby dad being in a coma. She admits to falling into a deep depression, but the only person she tells is her mother, Alaina. And now, onto chapter 9.

Ocean Odega POV

I'm sitting in my bed the day after talking to my mom about my depression, when I get a phone call from Justin.

Ocean: What do you want Justin ?
Justin: I want you to admit that you stole my sisters crush, and return him to his home immediately.
Ocean: What are you talking about Justin, she tried to steal MY boyfriend first, we've been together, everybody knows that except you ! Please act like you know.
Justin: It doesn't matter if you and James have been together, she liked him first and it just so happens that when she finally gets him, he cuts her off because of you ? What kind of spell did you have him under ?
Ocean: What do you mean spell ! I dont have time for this shit, I'm 5 months pregnant with James's babies. Goodbye.

With that I ended the phone call and flopped back onto my bed with a sigh. I dont understand why I'm getting harassed because of something James did. It's not fair and it's stressing me out. I decided to go on a walk because it usually calms my nerves when I'm worked up. I got up out of bed and put on some athletic wear, black of course, and asked Cam to come with me because obviously a pregnant woman walking alone is not safe. Me and Cam head out to begin our walk.

Cam: So, mom told me you were feeling a bit down these last couple days.
Ocean: That woman can't keep a secret to save her life. Yes, I do believe that I am a weeny bit depressed, but only because there's so much on my plate. James is in a coma, I found out I'm having two babies instead of one. June is really good company to have but I don't think she understands the reason I'm wiling to forgive James after all he's done to me, its for the kids, not because I'm unable to let go. And on top of all of that, Aiya's brother has been harassing me-
Cam: What do you mean harassing you ?
Ocean: He's been calling me basically blaming me for James "breaking Aiya's heart". Like she ever had a heart to break.
Cam: Ocean why didnt you tell anyone about this ?
Ocean: I didnt want you guys to worry, I've got it all under control.
Cam: Clearly you dont if its something big enough to stress you out. Ive got this, give me your phone.
Ocean: What ? No, I'm not giving you-
Cam: Give Me. Your. Phone.
Ocean: ............ FINE !

I give Cameron my phone because if anyone's going to get cussed out today by my brother, its not going to be me. He notices the private numbers calling my phone, and he sighs. I guess he thought he could get Justin's number from my phone. He then pulls out his phone and scrolls for a while and then stops and clicks something. I notice that he clicks on a number saved under "Justin The Weirdo". I didnt even know Cameron had Justin's number. I forget they are close in age, kind of like me and Aiya. Cameron looks at me and puts the phone on speaker.

Cam: Hello ?!
Justin: What's up ?
Cam: Don't what's up me freak, you been calling my sister's phone ?
Justin: I sure have because your sister is a crush stealing slut who wont admit when she's wrong.
Cam: My sister's a what ? Mention my sister again and I swear you'll never be able to speak again.
Justin: Your. Sister. Is. A. Slut.
Cam: Why dont you come say it to my face pussy !
Justin: Why dont you come over here ? You know where I live.
Cam: I was gonna do that anyway. We're on our way.

Cameron then hangs up the phone and I can tell he was furious. If its one thing you dont play about when it comes to my brother, its his family. We quickly walk back home and without telling anybody anything we hop in Cameron's car and drive off. I call June on the way there and she wanted to come, in case Aiya had something to say while we were there. We stopped by June's parents house to pick her up and then we headed to Justin and Aiya's place. To be completely honest, I dont know why I'm allowing Cam and June to get into this, I'm pregnant as a bitch and I'm trying to calm myself down, not work myself up. At the same time though, this fight is really getting my adrenaline rushing, and I dont feel depressed anymore.
When we arrive at the Jewel residence Cameron hops out of the car and runs up to the door. June gets out of the car and helps me out the car but she tells me to stay a good distance away so I dont accidentally get hit. Cameron bangs on the door and Justin walks out. Cameron immediately throws Justin down the stairs and Justin tumbles down until he hits the concrete at the bottom of the case. All I can do is laugh. Cameron starts screaming and yelling "Get up punk" and "I told you what would happen". Justin gets up and begins to lash toward Cameron but misses and falls into the bushes. He gets back up and proceeds to swing again but Cameron blocks the swing and instead punches Justin in the mouth with a right hook, then a left hook and an upper cut. Justin falls to the ground and lays there, bleeding from the mouth. I dont care that Justin is loosing the fight, as long as he's still breathing and my team gets out of here quick enough before the police arrive I'm enjoying my stalker getting beat by my brother.
Right when we're about to leave, Aiya decides to come outside and sees her brother lying on the ground, breathing heavily. She looks at me and you can tell something in her snapped, so she began to sprint towards me. I would kick her ass myself but I'm pregnant so her ass whooping is going to have to wait. As promised June runs towards Aiya and tackles her to the ground, punching Aiya in the face and the head. June gets up and lets Aiya get up before continuing to punch Aiya in the head and face. Aiya falls to the ground and June starts kicking her in the head and chest. I wish it was me doing the kicking. Maybe some day. As June continues stomping Aiya, Cameron grabs June by the waist and puts her in the car. I also get in the car and we all three leave to return to my house, laughing, and hearts racing.
