Chapter 11

Ocean gets very deep and personal about her life update. Justin calls Ocean and apologizes for the fight he started. And now, on to chapter 11..

Ocean Odega POV

The next day, I wake up remembering the events of last night. I still can't believe Justin actually apologized to me. Usually I wouldn't care about a simple NEEDED gesture like an apology from someone as irrelevant as Justin Jewels but since my emotions are all over the place I took the apology well past to the heart. I decided to throw on a robe and talk to Cameron about it.

Downstairs..

Ocean: Hey Cam, guess what ?
Cameron: What happened ?
Ocean: Justin called me again.
Cameron: Are you serious, that guy just wont stop !
Ocean: NO ! Cameron, calm down, he called to apologize.
Cameron: Apologize ? Thats all he can do is apologize ? And what did you say ?
Ocean: I told him that I was pretty sure he was apologizing because you beat his ass but I accept.
Cameron: And why the hell did you accept his silly apology ?
Ocean: Because I have a heart, and you already kicked his ass, I think he learned his lesson.
Cameron: Okay, sure. So, why did he wait so long to apologize ?
Ocean: He was recovering.
Cameron: Recovering ? And you believed him ?
Ocean: I mean yeah, you did beat his ass pretty badly, he said he had cracked ribs and shit, I kind of felt bad for him.
Cameron: You felt bad for him ?
Ocean: I mean yeah. It took him 2 months to recover from a fight that he started, I'm pretty sure he learned his lesson and he just wants to get on our good side. The thing is though, I don't think he told Aiya that he was apologizing to me.
Cameron: Why do you think that ?
Ocean: You two are too much alike. Just how you aren't willing to understand why I accept Justins apology, she wouldn't be able to understand why he would want to apologize after what you did to him.
Cameron: Okay one, don't ever compare me to freaky Aiya Jewels, and two I didn't do anything to the little four eyed freak, he started it.
Ocean: Okay Cam I get it he started it, but I'm finishing it once and for all, this feud is over.
Cameron: Fine!

     Cameron gets up and walks out of the living room and goes upstairs. I think he may be a little mad at me for being so quick to forgive Justin, but he'll get over it, because I'm his little sister, his only little sister, and he can't stay mad at me. I also told my mom that I forgave him and she didnt seem to mind. My mom has always been the peaceful type,  never one to anger anyone or stay mad or hold a grudge against anyone, so she was super understanding. June basically felt the same way as Cam did, but instead of being angry, she sounded more disappointed in me. She said something about not standing my ground or whatever, but in the end, she decided that she would be on my team no matter what I decided to do, and she forgave Justin, but not Aiya.

One month later..

     Its really true when they say your pregnancy flies by. It's now April and I am 8 months pregnant with my twins. Since James is still in a coma, and both my pregnancy and school are coming to an end, I decided to distract myself with a baby shower, well babies shower. I invited everyone from school that I could call my friends, and to be completely honest, I also invited some people that weren't my friends, just so I can shove my beautiful life in their face, but if I'm being completely honest, my life is far from beautiful. I try so hard to make pregnancy look so easy from the outside in but in reality its a shit show. I have a good support group though, so I'm managing.
     We have so many great foods for the shower, all the soul food you can think of, a salad bar, a desert table, and all the drinks you can get, both alcoholic and non alcoholic, my mothers idea for the adults at the party since I'm only 18. I still can't believe I didn't do anything for my 18th birthday, because I was sick from this damn pregnancy. See, nowhere near glamorous. We also have a pool, a trampoline, tons of baby shower games, like guess the chocolate, the name game, and pin the passy on the baby. My mom thought it would make things more interesting to have the guest play for money, but if they lost, they had to buy one thing from the twins registry. I can admit the shower definitely took my mind off the real world, and it also was fun seeing everybody buying things for my twins after they had already brought bags of gifts for my shower. I think my mom is an undercover hustler. She may have even rigged the games, I wouldn't put it past her, because she is having way too much fun, but hey, Im not complaining.
     By the time the shower was over the twins had more diapers, wipes, clothes, shoes, bath products, and hair and skin products they would ever possibly need, with over $15,000 worth of stuff from the registry on the way to the house. Perks of having basically all rich friends. And in the end my mom had given a grand total of $2000 away for the people who won the games. Now you can't tell me those games weren't rigged. As I was putting away the gifts in the twins room, I found myself thinking about James, but not in a good way. I started thinking about what would happen if he did wake up. When the accident happened, I thought I would run up to him and give him a big hug when he came to but now, I think I'm starting to get over him. The more and more I'm away from him the more I learn to live without him, and the more I realize how happy I am without all of his drama in my life. Of course when I was with him for those years I felt amazing I felt loved but now I think I was just blinded by the humans wants and needs of love, but not actually feeling it. I've come to the conclusion that although it'll be hard, when or if he comes to, Im going to leave him for good, for the sake of my happiness, and the only connection Ill have to him are these two wonderful children I'm going to have.
