Chapter 12

Previously On 'When it Rains'..
     Ocean tells the family about forgiving Justin. Some roll with her decision and some roll against it. The Odega's throw a baby shower for Ocean and the twins, and everyone plays some suspicious games. Ocean decides that when or if James awakens from his coma, she will leave him for good, and go off to find her one true love elsewhere, far away from her babies father. And now, on to chapter 12..

Ocean Odega POV

It's been a month since my baby shower and I am now 9 months pregnant. The journey is almost over and I honestly don't know how to feel about it. James still hasn't woken up from his coma, but Im really starting to give up hope on him waking up. I don't want to sound cruel but I don't know why his family is still having hope that he'll wake up, but then again, if it was one of the twins I would do the same thing. Graduation is in a couple weeks, so my mom is taking me and June outfit shopping. I don't know if I want a dress because I'm sort of self conscious about my baby bump, but its going to show either way so I need to get over it.
When we get to the mall I decided to get a white body-con dress that went down to my ankles. I thought it wouldn't look right because of my belly but it actually looked really cute, I just had to get like four times my size. I hadn't told June about my plan to leave James alone for good if he ever woke up, so I decided to tell her while she was shopping for her dress.

Ocean: So, guess what ?
June: What's up ?
Ocean: I decided that if James ever woke up, Im going to leave him alone for good and focus on myself and the twins. He doesn't deserve me.
June: You just now figured that out ?
Ocean: I mean yeah, I was thinking about forgiving him but I just can't.
June: And you shouldn't have to. Ocean, if its one thing about you, you don't need James for anything. Your parents are rich and you're beautiful, you can get any man you want, so if James decided to cheat on you thats just his own fault. Besides, its been how many months since his accident and he still hasn't woken up, you should've learned to move on months ago, just because he's been gone so long.
Ocean: I know you're right, It was a hard decision but I definitely made up my mind about us.
June: Good for you bestie.

I knew June would appreciate me leaving James for good, because she doesn't get over anything. She would hate James for the rest of her life like she was the one he cheated on, but I appreciate it because no other friend would care about my feelings as much as her, and thats why she's my best friend. After we left the mall we went back to my house and decided to watch some scary movies and we fell asleep.

About a week later, I got a call from Aiya, yes Aiya.
Ocean: What do you want Aiya ?
Aiya: Who the fuck do you think you are ?
Ocean: I dont know what the fuck you're talking about Jewel.
Aiya: You get your brother to fight my brother, put him in the hospital and now Im hearing that you guys are friends ?
Ocean: Well, I wouldn't say frie-
Aiya: Listen here you little bitch ! I dont want you or your psycho brother anywhere near me or my family, and I dont want James !
Ocean: Okay first of all Aiya lets be honest with ourselves really quick. YOU NEVER HAD JAMES ! I dont even want James but if I did I could have him before you even try to have sex with him again. He will never go back to you because you're trash, and if he wasn't in a coma I would tell him you tried to hit me while I was pregnant and he would literally make your life a living hell. Secondly, If anyone's a bitch its you, you're literally a home wrecker. Lastly, me and Cam wouldn't want to go near your dysfunctional ass family again if someone paid us ! Yeah, Justin told me about your little "hard life" as a kid, and quite frankly I dont give a rats ass what you went through because the type of person you became deserved to go through that shit. And oh yeah, if you hate me so much, LOSE MY NUMBER BITCH !

I didnt give Aiya a chance to respond before I hung up on her. The actual nerve of this bitch. I said everything Ive always wanted to say to her, and I obviously had to tell my best friend about it.

June: She said WHAT ?
Ocean: She told me to stay away from her family, as if id ever want to go around her when she tried to attack me ! She almost made my water break I almost burst out laughing.
June: She is honestly hilarious, but not as hilarious as you, remind me what you said after that.
Ocean: I let her ass have it ! I said everything I've always wanted to say to her and then hung up before she could respond. Im surprised she didnt call back she's so desperate for attention from me.
June: She's literally so obsessed with you. Gotta run my mom's callling.
Ocean: Okay, bye.

It's always so funny telling my best friend about things that happen in my life.

A couple weeks later, I wake up early to go to my appointments preparing for graduation. I go get my hair pressed and my nails and toes done. Im getting my makeup done tomorrow before graduation. It's so bittersweet because I went through so much this year to make it to this day, my last day as a high school student. Im graduating tomorrow with a 3.9 gpa, two kids coming any day now, and a full scholarship to Cal Tech. I'm super grateful they have family housing and free daycare for students because I'm going to need it now that ill basically be raising the twins on my own. As the day ends I was so excited for graduation I immediately went to sleep when I got home in anticipation for the next day.
