I started to miss Cameron, I can't lie. But what the fuck could I do about it? I told him I didn't need him and I'd never love him. You don't just say that to someone. But on the other hand, he is overreacting worse than a teenage girl.

The sun's rays were beaming in through my window and I couldn't help but want to turn the sun off. I tossed myself out of bed and to my feet, and walked over to my mirror. I stood in front of it and grabbed my compass off of my dresser and held it in my hands. It's cold surface sent a shiver through my arm.
I knew what I had to do.
~~~~~~~~~~
The sum was beaming down on me and the road was as empty as ever. At least my road was. Once I past the giant gap in the road, the stream of cars seemed almost non stop. A long line, of constant cars was driving in to the Christian City. The cars we're all black and I think a majority of them had tinted windows. A hearse was somewhere in the mix of cars and I couldn't help but wonder who was in it.
Where I come from, no one has ever used one or even wanted one. Weather you were rich or poor as fuck, you just didn't want one. You burn the dead bodies and then scattered them. Like normal people.
I started walking faster towards the Christian City and I followed beside the line of cars to a bridge where all the cars were crossing. No one from my village had ever used the bridge before because you needed a Christian Identity Card, and if you didn't have one, you'd be "escorted" off the premise. I walked to the booth where a pack of Christians sat. Two armed men were standing on either side of the bridge with giant guns. When I quickly reached the booth, a younger, and pretty girl smiled at me.
"ID please." She didn't look or seem impatient, but she also looked like she wasn't going to wait all day. I opened my book bag an made it look like I was searching through my bag, and I changed my facial expression to a sad look.
"Oh my God," I mumbled. "I forgot my card."
The girl smiled. "No problem, just go to the phone booth," she pointed to a phone booth on the other side of the road, "over there and get a civilian inside to give me the OK to let you in."
I smiled faux-thankfully and jogged to the booth. I opened the clear door with a giant telephone logo on it. Inside stood a payphone; disgusting looking. I looked around at the line of cars that were making their way, one by one, into the City. I stepped back out of the phone booth without making any calls. Who was I supposed to call anyways?
I looked around once more to see if anyone was watching me, even though I was quite aware no one was. I started walking towards the cars, nonchalantly glancing in the windows. No one was really paying attention to me. I walked in between the back of one car and the front of another and quickly tried to open the latch of the trunk. My fingers slipped and I wasn't about to stay there and try to open the latch.
I continued walking and made my way to the car I was just in front of. I slipped my hand to the latch and quickly pulled up. The truck popped open and I tossed myself inside. I didn't let go of the inside handle of the truck, so it was easy for me to close the truck. The black interior of the car was cold and the air was thick. A heavy smell of something musty embraced me. But there wasn't much I could do about that.
I felt the car start to move.
Then, it stopped.
Then we began to move again, and we hit a bump and the sound of tires driving across a medal surface echoed throughout the vehicle.
Then, we we're on a bridge, and I couldn't help but hope Cameron would hear me out on this one.
