"What does it say?"

My mom glanced at me for a minute before returning to her hands. "Now you know I can't tell you that."

"Can you at least give me an element?"

"Fire." She said and my body started tingling, until every inch of my body was numb.

"This isn't about, my, uh, umm seventeenth, is it?"

Mother clapped her hands shut and looked up at me with worried eyes. "Are you nervous?"

"What? No."

"Are you sure?"

"No mother, I'm not."

"You would tell me if you were, yes?"

"Yes, mother."

"Very well." She said before walking by me and leaving her bedroom. I glanced out the door but she was already gone. I tip toed lightly to her bed and sat on the edge she was sitting on. Using some of her water beside her bed, I concentrated on my hands. My eyes were bolting back and forth between my left and right hands, but nothing was happening. I head footsteps and I immediately got up and started walking out the door. I ran into a body. I looked up.

It was Cameron.
