Chapter 14 Time To End This!

Jaclyn: "Tell me the truth. Who are you, and why do you want me to join you so badly?"

Lucy: "Our family history is different compared to others. Over a decade ago, before you were born, our nations were at war over anything and everything, including power, education, leadership, etc., that divided the nation in half. The day you were born was the best day of my life, but we couldn't celebrate for too long. As soon as I was able to leave the hospital, your grandmother came to me saying that a war in the nation was about to break out. I told her to grab you and flee the nation until everything settled, but I could never find you guys again. Once I heard about you, I was trying to look for you, and my group did a solid job looking for you as well. They made mistakes regarding the attempt to attack your friend, for which I am deeply sorry. Now that you are here, join me, and we can rebuild a new nation under our control and make it as we want. What do you say?"

Jaclyn couldn't say a word. The Unlimited Nation group raises their Rai as they attempt to take down Steven and his ice dragon. The ice dragon begins to unleash Ice Spikes toward the warriors; Theodore jumps into the air and counters with a giant shield to block the attack. Angelo, Andre, Anthony, and TJ all use Fireballs at the dragon, but Steven forces the dragon to dodge the attack. Ron took the opportunity to launch toward the dragon as soon as it stopped moving. When Steven realized Ron was coming straight towards them, he couldn't consider a counter-attack as Ron entered his iron form and delivered a giant punch to the ice dragon. The dragon fell out of the air as Steven tried his best to recover the dragon, but it was too late as they hit the ground. Marcus and John unleashed their Twin Cannon Blast at the two, and Steven quickly jumped out of the way while the attack hit his ice dragon. Steven thought it was the end, as did everyone else; however, the ice dragon had created some Ice Shield that blocked the attack. Everyone couldn't believe what they saw, but ten Unlimited nation soldiers gathered to unleash the Lightning Rhino attack. Steven quickly took some ice from the dragon and made a Reverse Mirror to absorb the attack and redirect it at the group. Andre was quick enough to counter with an earth version of the attack as it exploded upon impact. Luna stayed inside the building when one of the prisoners tried to get her attention.

??: "Excuse me, can I speak to you?"

Luna: "Of course, what's the matter?"
??: "Can you let us out of here? I need to do something?"
Luna: "I will, but not now. A battle is going on, and I don't want anyone hurt."

??: "You don't understand; I must go to Lucy before it's too late."

Luna looked at this young girl, probably around six or seven. Luna didn't know what to say.

Luna: "Okay, how about I get one of the Unlimited Nation warriors to accompany you? Does that sound better?"
??: "Yes."

Luna: "Okay. Sit tight for a few seconds."

Luna didn't know who she would grab until she saw Andre getting knocked out of the sky and land inside the building. Before he could get up and fly out, Luna grabbed him and told him what was happening.

Andre: "Does she need to go right now?"

Luna: "I asked her to give me a few seconds. I can help out in the fight if need be."

Andre: "No, it's cool. Anthony can handle the counter-attacks; too many people are out there. Now, where is this little girl?"
Luna walked Andre over to the little girl, and the two quickly left to find Lucy. Once they were getting close, Andre began feeling some powerful Rai that rivals a nation leader. Andre looked in the room and noticed that Jaclyn was face to face with Lucy and told the little girl to wait for a second to see what would happen.

Lucy: "What is your answer, Jaclyn?"

Jaclyn: "......... I.......... Refuse to join someone who decided to attack one of my friends, have me brainwashed, and have me do their dirty work, then come through with an excuse as to why they did it. I know you're lying to me, Lucy, and you'll pay for it."
