When the princess returned to the living room, she saw all her shekiah friends sitting at the little table in the middle. In Purah's hands, was a little gadget that looked like a wristwatch.
"Ah, Zelda, you're back. How's your knight?" Symin asked, looking up from the group. His mention of the princess caused the rest of the group members to lift their heads up too.
"He's doing well; still feverish, but he's getting better," she replied, stopping to look at the thing Purah held in her hand.
"Ah, I see you've noticed it," the scientist quipped, "I've developed this watch so you can change the time period you're in when you reset it. It's also built with a feature that lets us know when you wanna return to the present,"
"We kinda had to wing it with Link," she chuckled a little.
"That sounds amazing," Zelda said, her eyes widening slightly.
"Sure is," Robbie added, "Purah here has been working on it all day."
"I figured since you wanted to time-travel in Link's place it'd be useful," the scientist told her, hopping off her chair and making her way over to the princess.
"Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to fix the whole 'time-traveling fever' thing," Purah gently strapped the watch to Zelda's wrist.
"That's alright, it's like Link said, it's just a little dreariness, I've handled worse things in the past," she replied, raising her wrist to admire the watch.
"Alright, but don't hesitate to come back home if you need to," Symin added from back at the table.
"I'll pack a quick bag; I plan to leave at dawn."

The only thing illuminating the silent living room the following dawn were the newborn rays of sun that pierced through the curtains.
It couldn't have been more than an hour past sun-high when Zelda padded quietly into the living room; being careful as to not wake anyone in the house.
All were asleep, especially Link, who lay with his left arm draped over his face, still flushed with light fever.
The princess couldn't help but eye him wistfully upon setting the backpack she'd brought on the floor.
"I hope I don't end up as sick as him..." she whispered to herself.
The machine laid a few good feet from the couch, facing away from it as to keep the light from waking the knight.
Zelda was so focused on pressing in the buttons for the operation that she didn't notice Paya slip into the room, a vile of something clutched in her palm.
"Princess?" She said, lightly, her voice as soft as a feather.
Zelda looked up, slightly startled.
"Oh, Paya, it's you," she said, keeping her own voice at a low.
The young shekiah quietly made her way over to where the princess knelt, being careful as to not disturb the sleeping beauty on the couch.
"Grandmother wanted me to give you this, it's medicine," Paya explained, pressing the tiny bottle into her friend's hand.
Zelda eyed the little vile; a clear liquid lay inside. A little label across the front read, "herbal remedy" in somewhat shaky handwriting she could only assume was Impa's. The princess nodded her head in thanks.
