"You won't believe what happened?" I told Liam as he came out of the bathroom with just a towel wrapped at his waist, tempting me with a full display of well-toned abs and muscles.

"What is it?" He turned and looked at me from the closet.

"Bro is in relationship. Can you believe that. That, too, with his personal secretary." I sequeled with excitement. I am so excited about this whole 'Viktor Anderson's secret love affair with his personal secretary.

"Well..." Liam shrugged, picking up a shirt to wear.

"You have seen her. She was there when we went to meet Viktor" I moved near him, he tried to remember scratching his chin.

"You know baby, I have eyes just for you." He pulled me by my waist to him, snuggling his head into my neck.

"Cheesy much." I slapped his shoulder.

"I am happy for him, though." He said, hugging me tight.

"I am so overjoyed for him, he deserves that after that bitch Jenny showed up again. Apparently Rashid caught them kissing, and we got to know about them...you seem to be distracted." He didn't respond to me.

"Mom has called us for dinner." He said out of nowhere.

"Great, I would never miss her food. I just lover her cooki..." I pulled away from his warm chest to look at his handsome face that was covered with concern.

"You know what she wants to talk about." He bit his lower lip.

"Ohhh...ya..." Now I was worried too. Even if Susan is a sweet mom who loves me more than Liam, she still can be a bit annoying at times.

"We can make an excuse if you want." He cupped my face, searching answer in my eyes.

"No, I can't escape that question every time. I know you don't ask me or confront me about it, but I need to face it...and it's high time we come up with a date." I had to. I can't keep ignoring the elephant in the room. We have to set a date for our wedding. I have been pushing it since long, giving lame excuses.

"You are joking, right?" Liam took hold of my shoulders.

"No baby, we will discuss and finalize a date very soon." This time, I cupped his face and pecked his lips, happy to give him such happiness.

"YAAAAY" he picked me up by waist and kissed me

"Where are you lost?" Saba strolled inside my office, furrowing her brows.

"Huh?... nothing. Liam's mom has called us for dinner..." I huffed, collecting my things. My whole day went past thinking about the wedding, and it was already time to leave and meet Susan.

"And she will keep on asking about the wedding date, which you want to avoid as if it's never gonna happen. Why you accepted poor guy's proposal if you are still foolishly interested in someone else." She countered, challenging me to differ.

"Saba...you know that's not true. I have moved on from him. I don't even talk to him." I have right? I have moved on. I don't think about Richie anymore. He is not always in the back of my mind, right? I am with Liam and I love him.

"But you still think of him. What are you doing about that?" Se said as we passed the long corridor towards the elevator.

"I have decided that we will soon finalize the date" My voice echoed inside the elevator box

"Are you sure because there is no point in waiting for him..."

"I am not waiting for him. I know he never had any feelings for me, but he is acting so weird after he got to know about Liam. All of a sudden, he is interested in my life." I shrugged, and the elevator door opened up in the parking lot, giving me a view of smiling Liam waiting for me leaning on his car. I started to move towards him, my future, but Saba took hold of my elbow and turned me towards her.

"You forget about him and focus on Liam and your future with him. Liam is a very nice fellow Lia, don't break his heart ever." Saying that she went near her car.

I will never break his heart because I know how it feels. I would never do that to him. Richard Anderson, I will never do what you did to me to anyone. You know why? Because it hurts.

Liam took me in his arms as soon as I reached him. This is my happy place, in his arms.

"How was your day?" He asked, beaming from ear to ear. It makes my heart swell seeing him so joys with just the mention of finalizing the dates.

"Usual, how was yours?" I asked, sipping the coffee he had brought me. We were directly going to Susan's place. She lived in a small house just near the beach. Her house always smelled of baked goodies. Liam is the only child, and he lived with his mom, but when we got engaged, I asked him to move in with me.

I owned a 3-bedroom apartment near Viktor's house. Being the chief editor of one of the best fashion magazine pays well.

"Mine was amazing. I was daydreaming the whole time about our wedding, about you." Liam took hold of my hand and kissed my fingers tenderly.

"Where do you want to go for honeymoon?" He inquired further.

I thought about it a bit. I had always dreamt about going on honeymoon with Richie on some isolated private island, where there would be just us amidst nature, doused in love, But...

“Mountains” I burled up pushing those thoughts far behind

"Perfect" he grinned, parking the car in Susan's driveway.
