Elle slid into her lunch seat, brain foggy. Whimsy glanced at her, then rubbed her back and leaned in. "You okay, babe?"
"Mm," Elle hummed. "Min told me what happened with Stella. I feel so bad for them,"
Whimsy smiled. "Stella talked to me too. Sounds like Min said some rude stuff, yeah? But don't worry about it, they'll figure it out," She continued running her hand along Elle's back, until she sat up hesitantly.
"Min didn't say rude stuff," she muttered. "Stella was the one being bitchy,"
They narrowed their eyes at each other. "Min told Stella that they wished they'd never met her," Whimsy leaned away from her girlfriend. "I'd say that's pretty rude,"
"Stella wasn't listening to what Min was saying," Elle argued. "I doubt Min would even say that,"
Tension built between them. "I don't know what they told you, but Stella isn't the type to lie about this kind of stuff," Whimsy said. "If you really wanna help, Min is the problem."
"Dude!" Elle exclaimed, throwing her arms out. "They literally were just setting boundaries! Get your own opinion for once and stop believing what everyone tells you!" Immediately after she said that, she regretted it. "I... that's not what I-"
Whimsy stood up, grabbing her lunch. "Fine. My opinion is to sit somewhere else."
"Hey guys-" Caiman greeted them as Whimsy stalked away. "Uh... trouble in paradise?" he asked, glancing at Elle as he sat down.
She put her head in her hands and groaned. "God, I'm the worst girlfriend EVER."
Caiman averted his gaze awkwardly. "I mean... sometimes it's good to have arguments?"
"I guess," she mumbled solemnly.
Blue walked up to the table, looking around, confused. "Where's Whimsy?" he asked. Elle didn't answer, so he glanced at Caiman. He made a walking motion with his fingers, then pointed to where she'd sat down. Blue frowned, then strode over to her. He sat down and they began talking.
Looking back to Elle, Caiman asked, "What even happened?" he asked.
She sighed. "Min and Stella. They each told us different stuff," she explained. "Then we argued about who was right."
"This is why I'm single," Caiman muttered under his breath. Elle glared at him. "Just apologize then! Don't make it a whole pride thing and be mature,"
Elle nodded. "Yeah, you're right. I'll talk to her now!" She began to stand up, but Caiman grabbed her arm.
"Let her cool off first, man," he said. "Is this your first argument or something?"
"... yes?"
Caiman rolled his eyes. "Jesus Christ,"
Elle pouted and leaned on her hand.
