The tension only grew throughout the week. Stella and Min barely spoke, but when they did, it only evolved into arguments. Sasha was often caught in the middle, trying to break them up. They all often made it into the principal's office.
By Wednesday, they'd been there about five times.
And by Thursday, last class of the day, they still sat in their chosen assigned seats. All three lined up in digital arts, working on their own things. Until, unsurprisingly, they started arguing again.
Sasha had her headphones in for the start of it, so she didn't even know what was going on as they whispered angrily with each other.
"Guys?" she murmured. They ignored her and her heart began speeding up. She chewed on the side of her cheek and drummed her fingers on the desk.
"You act like you're this perfect person all the time! Literally nobody cares how much stuff you do for this dumbass school, you're just as regular as the rest of us!" Min scowled.
Stella sneered. "I have worked so hard to build my reputation here, and you say that I'm regular? I have worked much harder than anyone here- especially you."
Sasha almost choked on her own spit.
Immediately, Min stood up, and the table they were sitting at shook.
Then, it toppled.
The computers crashed to the ground. One completely shattered as it hit the tile floor, and another cracked at the edges. The whole room stared at the mess, silent.
"Who did that?!" the teacher yelled, stalking over. She stood over the computers and her face screwed up in anger. "Someone better tell me who did that right now!"
Sasha's hand shot up. "I-I did!" She almost couldn't believe what she was saying. "I, uh, I knocked the table over. I got mad."
The teacher walked right up to her and clenched her teeth. "Office. RIGHT NOW."
Nodding, Sasha got up, tears springing into her eyes. She could almost feel her classmates' staring at her back.
She paused in the hallway, and tears began streaming down her cheeks. "Oh God," she whispered.
