Qiu Ling stared at Leng Jin Yu's apparition for half a minute before he slowly realized what he was saying. His brows shot up and then, he finally laughed. "Oh, did you decide you didn't want to wait any longer?"

Leng Jin Yu smiled back and nodded but then paused and shook his head instead. "We didn't decide but he said how much he is looking forward to it and how he feels some anxiety. I figured I should check with you. Jin—"

Qiu Ling coughed to interrupt him, glancing toward where the seamstress stood. Even though she was currently talking to Jing Yi, he definitely didn't want anybody to pick up on the fact there was somebody with the name 'Jinde' walking around the capital city. It would still be alright if it was somebody close to them like that Zheng Yin but a random store owner? That was just asking for trouble.

Leng Jin Yu was startled but then realized what he had almost done. He smiled wryly and shook his head. This was something he still hadn't gotten used to. It was easier when they were around unfamiliar people but in front of their friends and family, it was easy to let Jinde's identity slip. Thankfully, Qiu Ling had reminded him.

"Well, I didn't ask my husband yet because I wasn't sure if you'd have time to go over and we didn't want to do this without you. Since you're free, it's no problem. I doubt he'd want to wait any longer though."

Qiu Ling nodded. "Alright. Let me talk to Jing Yi for a moment. After that, I'll be right over."

The two of them cut the transmission and Qiu Ling turned to look over his shoulder. He had talked about this with Jing Yi in regard to tomorrow but it might be different if it was today. After all, there were still other matters to take care of. Still, he could understand where Jinde and Leng Jin Yu were coming from and he was in favor of them doing this fast.

He weighed the transmission stone in his hand for a moment and then briskly walked over.

Jing Yi looked up, giving a faint smile. Even though he had chatted with the seamstress a bit more, he had still noticed just who had contacted Qiu Ling and he had a rough guess what this was about. "You're leaving?"

Qiu Ling looked at him with a complicated expression. "Would you mind?"

Jing Yi shook his head. "We talked about this. We're just going to advance things a little."

Qiu Ling nodded but still couldn't help but hesitate. "The God of Justice still hasn't come over. If he does now ..."

"I'll be able to deal with it. Anyway, we talked it through so I know what to say." And, well, maybe there were a few things he'd be more comfortable saying if Qiu Ling wasn't there.

Qiu Ling heaved a sigh of relief. "Alright, then I'll go. If there is anything ... you know how to contact me. Also, Xiang Yong and the other two should be somewhere in the palace so go there if you need anything."

"I know." Jing Yi reached out and patted his arm before motioning to the door. "Don't think too much, just go. I'll be able to take care of myself."

Qiu Ling nodded, feeling that he was probably thinking too much. He leaned over to pull Jing Yi into his arms for a moment but then turned around and walked out, making his way to the palace as fast as possible. This matter, he had also waited for it. Not nearly as long as Jinde and Leng Jin Yu had but still. He was looking forward to it.

Rushing to their room, he found Jinde and Leng Jin Yu sitting there together, drinking a cup of tea. Seeing them like this, he couldn't help but raise his brows. "Aren't the two of you too leisurely?"

Jinde looked up and raised his brows. "Do you think I didn't work before this? I'm not like you, running around with my lover, preparing a wedding, and enjoying myself." Although, then again, he had had two weddings with this lover so he probably shouldn't talk ...

At that, Leng Jin Yu raised his gaze. "You know, I wouldn't mind running around with you and enjoying myself. A trip to the seaside sounds wonderful."

Jinde froze and then slowly turned around to his lover. "What did you just say?"

Leng Jin Yu put down the cup and leaned forward, smiling faintly. "Well, you said you're doing reasonably well after everything so I contacted Qiu Ling whether he had time right now. He does so ... we might as well go to the Qishi Sea today, don't you think so?"

Jinde stared at him and then nodded blankly, standing up without even knowing what to think. He had waited for so long ... Could this really be happening? He clenched his hands into fists, taking a few deep breaths, and trying to reassure himself that this was indeed happening.

Leng Jin Yu watched him and got up as well, slowly walking around the table to finally pull him into his arms. "It's true. We're ... going to have a child ... today." Actually, when he said it like this, it felt a bit strange. He couldn't help but be nervous.

Yes, they had looked forward to it for so long but were they really ready? Then again, it wasn't like the child would be born today. No, after finding the perfect shell and setting everything up, it would still take those arduous ten months for the child to grow before it could be born. So they'd still have time to prepare more.

Jinde's thoughts finally caught up with him and he fiercely hugged his husband, his eyes turning red. A child ... his child and with the man that he loved. How could he not be ecstatic?

Wiping his eyes with his sleeve, he finally stepped back. "Let's go over right now!" Now that he had the opportunity, he wouldn't wait a single second longer. This child, it did not need to stay a dream any longer.
