Chapter 15

Chase and I arrived at the gates of SCU at around 7:15 in the morning. Josh texted that he and Rue are waiting for us at The Hanging Garden and as soon as they saw us, Rue ran to hug me with Josh tagging along behind her.

"Soooo, how did it go last night? What movie did you watch? Did you two have fun?" Rue winked.

"We watched Friends with Benefits – the one featuring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis. It was fun, the story is nice." I smiled.

"I heard you two slept together, literally friends with benefits. See, Ella? I warned you about Chase." Josh winked. Chase laughed and smacked him in the head.

"We were supposed to stay the night at Rowena's place but her vacant rooms were all occupied by her nieces, so she called the hotel and drove us there. Nothing happened Josh. He had his own side of the bed, and I have mine. We just slept, that's all." I said, raising my right hand as a promise sign.

"Wait, so Rowena thought you two were like together, together?" Rue smiled.

"Uhh, yeah. It's his entire fault." I said, pointing a finger to Chase and he just grinned.

"Just because we slept together that doesn't mean that something happened. And if something really did happen, it's just gonna be between me and Ella." Chase winked. What the hell is he saying?

"Whatever bro. I'm just saying. Anyway, have you heard him snore in his sleep Ella?" Josh grinned.

"Hmmm? Perhaps I did. He sounded like a boar hibernating. No offense, CJ."

"Liar, you were the one snoring Ella." Chase smirked.

"No, I don't! I only talk in my sleep. I never snore."

"Uh oh, lovers' quarrel?" Rue grinned.

"Hmmm?" Josh said, eyeing me and Chase.

 "What?" I asked.

"I could sense something..." Josh smirked.

"My stomach grumbling, I suppose." I smiled.

"You're still hungry after everything that we ate back at the hotel?" Chase asked, surprised.

"Nah, I'm just kidding. Anyway, can I be excused? I badly needed a shower and I still have to finish packing my stuff. Mom's gonna be here at 10."

"Don't worry sister. I got all your things packed for you." Rue smiled.

"Really? Gosh. Thanks Rue!" I grinned and gave her a quick hug.

"You're welcome. And yes, you do need a shower." Rue teased.

"Will you go with me back to our room? Please?" I pleaded. Rue and Josh exchanged looks. It's like they're having a telepathic communication and I definitely know where it is heading.

"Actually, Rue and I still haven't had our breakfast yet. Sorry Stella." Josh pouted. I gave him a sharp look.

"Don't worry. Chase will accompany you, right Chase? Boyfriend duties, remember?" Rue smiled and poked him with her elbow.

"Oh yeah, that's right, boyfriend duties. I almost forgot. Sorry babe." Chase winked and placed his arm over my shoulders.

"If you guys couldn't find me anywhere later, it only means that I've already had my execution." I smiled as I tried to shrug him off but he still kept me close.

Urgh, babe? Why does he have to do this in front of Rue and Josh? This is totally embarrassing. I think I'm going to melt.

"Whatever you say Stella." Rue winked.
