It's our second day at Good Ol' Bentley, and after what happened at the Open Mic last night, every other girl in school seemed to have been lovestruck by Chase even more. As we're lining up for breakfast, the girls behind us would have their pictures taken with him and guess what? I'm their photographer and I'm really trying my best to be nice to all of them. The 6 of us gathered at our usual spot and had breakfast together.
The rest of the day went by so fast – activities, games and classes were conducted by teams. Our team won first place in the Amazing Race, while our Volleyball men finished off second as well. The 6 of us barely saw each other until dinner.

"Stella! Congratulations! You guys were awesome back there!" Rue said as she and Kyle approached the table. Kyle grinned and gave me two thumbs up.
"Thanks guys! Congratulations as well!" I smiled.
"Thanks! Umm, where are the others?" Rue asked.
"Hey guys!" Sasha smiled.
"Sorry to keep you guys waiting. Anyway, where's Chase?" Josh asked.
"I dunno, he hasn't texted me."
"Oh, there he is! Yo Chase, where ya been man?" Josh asked as they exchanged brotherly hugs.
"I've been busy helping out the team and stuff. Anyway, let's go get dinner guys, I'm starving!" Chase said and then all of us stood up to get dinner. The both of us were the last ones to fall in line.
"CJ!" I said as I tapped him on his shoulder.
"Yeah?" Chase turned around.
"What's up?" I smiled.
"Nothing. Oh, uhh, congratulations by the way." Chase half-smiled and then turned his back on me.
"Woah, what's up with you?"
"I said nothing right, so what else is there to say?" Chase said seriously.
"What the hell is your problem?" I asked.
"Pssh, what are you talking about Ella?"
"Wow, so now I'm the one who has the problem?"
"Whatever." Chase said and turned his back on me, again.
After lining up, we got to our table and everyone's eyes were on us. Chase is already sitting and eating his food. I sat a few meters away from him and began eating. After a while, he started talking and joking around to everyone but me. I took a deep breath and stood up from my seat.
"You know what; I don't even think I'm hungry at all. I guess I'll go hit the sack now. I'll see you all in the morning. Good night!" I smiled.
"But Stella, you barely touched your food." Sasha said.
