I woke up, just in time to see the sun's first ray of light, welcoming me with a sweet scented, chilly breeze. I looked to my right to see David, who was already awake. This time we were on a meadowy hill, with flowers and trees. Beautiful. But it still had emerald green skies and perhaps a lighter shade of purple grass. "Here we go again." David whispered into my ear, I guess he whispered because his real voice might sound scared or something.

Just a couple of feet to the left of us, was the pedestal with the Magix book. As much as I wanted to burn that book, we needed it. David looked at me, almost as if he could see that I was about to cry, he pursed his lips and pulled me up to stand. Then we both walked up to the pedestal, took a deep breath, and.. Yep, opened it.

We turned to page two, "2/7 riddles completed" A bit upgraded if I say so myself. "Well, 2 down 5 more to go." David said with a fake smile, IT WAS CLEARLY FAKE!!. I guess he wanted me to have hope. We looked at page 3 and once again a riddle:
"The answer is hidden;
In a land forbidden.
You must find its with heed,
Until you succeed."
Ughh.. How I wish this would be easier, I mean, I'd rather have science class!

I heard some soft chittering from behind, as I turned around, my mouth dropped open. I saw two tiny figures with wings, about the size of my thumb! One of them had pink wings which seemed to sparkle under the sun, it seemed to be a miniature girl with ginger red hair and green eyes, while the other one had blue wings and had short brown hair, perhaps a miniature boy. They both had outfits that were completely biodegradable probably made of leaves and flowers. There gaze showed us that they pretty much had the same expression I did.

David was still facing the book, thinking about the riddle. "Psstt.. Errmmm David?" I said as I poked his shoulder. He turned around and gasped. "Uhh, we won't hurt you, we come in peace!" I chirped, my voice louder than I expected it to be. I saw the figures turn around and fly away as fast as they could, "hey! Stop! We need your help!" I screamed at the top of my voice while chasing after them. They flew into the tall purple grass, and... I lost them. Grrr.. I stumped my feet to the ground (it's what I do when I'm angry). David still had his lips parted from the unbelievable sight.

"Please don't tell me mermaids are next." He gulped. Well I can't really complain.. "Let's find them, maybe they can help us!" I chirped, having hope by my side. We didn't have to wait too long until trouble..

Just as we started to walk down the hill, I heard a zap sound and then.. BOOM! The sharp sound hit us, and it hit us hard.. As I awoke from the darkness, my head immediately started to throb and my vision was blurry. When I started to feel normal I noticed something.. Something crazy. I HAVE WINGS! Omg omg omg OMG!! Ushusgsbuajguianujahiau! I let out a long and loud shriek which woke David up.. "What's wro- WHAT THE?!..." David sputtered, his eyes wide open with surprise, "Dd-David.. Your WINGS!" I squeaked, he turned to see his own wings in horror.

I had greenish glittery wings, while David had a dark blue ones. God, I still couldn't believe this! I looked around and noticed something else too, the grass grew taller the flowers were humongous and the trees looked like towers from my view.. "David, is it just me, or did the world just grew bigger?" I asked my voice cracking with fear, "Nope, it's not the world that grew bigger, but us who shrinked." He said with concern in his eyes. I gasped as I looked around once more, I could feel my throat drying up, and my words cracking. I heard chittering again, but only much louder, I turned around to see about 25 of those fairies..
