"Loxy?.." The voice boomed my name, her voice sounded like she didn't talk for days. Then I heard footsteps..
And soon, Lizzy came into view. "Lizzy?" I murmured, making sure I'm not imagining things. Nope. She's really there. Her eyes were swollen and blood-shot (red), her lips, cracked and dry. Her face was twice as pale as it normally was and her hair was fizzy.. But somethings about her changed.. A lot.
She was taller and her body had a teenage shape. She looked like she was in her teen-years, around my age. "Lizzy? What happened?!" I realised I sounded more surprised than questioning. Lizzy did a sad smile and made her way to me, "I told you, I'd end by the time your done with these riddles, I am starting to age and get closer to my death." I don't know why, but I crushed her into a hug. "I'm so, SO sorry!! Please I take back everything!" I almost shrieked. She hugged back after a while of hesitation.
"Lox, everything and everyone has to go one day. So will I, I was cursed before my real death (which was suppose to kill me) and.. Ended up here. The curse can only be broken if you finish this riddle, and I will then rest in peace." Lizzy explained. "But I'm still sorry for what I did earlier." I sighed. "No lox, it wasn't your fault, it's mine, I didn't want to be nice to you so that we won't get too close, I didn't want you to be sad in the end. But I guess it doesn't work that way." She replied to my apology.
"Lox, anyways, why are you here? I thought you're supposed to be with Gia and Misty, getting to finish your next riddle. Right?" She asked, confused, "oh-uh yeah, well.. Let's just say David and I fell through a hole.." I explained, my cheeks tinging a pink hue from embarrassment.
"Oh, are any of you hurt?" She asked, a bit concerned to my surprise. David pointed to me, jerking his thumb towards me. I glared at him, I didn't want to bring this up. "Her shoulder." David mumbled. "Let me see.." Lizzy started, examining my shoulder like it was an alien object. She poked some areas and asked if it hurt. I flinched every time, and replied with a 'no' although it did hurt. "Hmm.. I think you might have an injury. Lox." Lizzy said in a thoughtful voice. No.. I don't want to go to the hospital! Those places are a nightmare!
"I have to go." Lizzy said quickly and out of nowhere. "I, I need to be somewhere.." Her voice was kind of shaky "here, follow this and it will lead you to Gia and Misty." She said, handing me a white glowing ball, which ended up hovering above my head. I turned around to say goodbye to Lizzy, but she was gone.
The white hovering ball started to fly away, David tugged me towards the light ball, let's just say it's name is Bob. Bob started speeding up and hovering faster and faster by every second. We were now running after Bob, which turned left, through a small tunnel in which, we had to squish ourselves through. Then Bob turned right, which was a huge tunnel, I stretched out my arms in there. Then Bob, popped..
Omg.. What are we going to do?!
And that's when I heard growling. David tightened the grip on my hand.. "Maybe we should turn into werewolves too?" David suggested. I held my werewolf tooth pendant between my fingers and wished to turn into werewolf. My whole body had a tingling sensation, it was a tad bit painful too. But soon enough, I could see paws other then hands and when I looked down, I saw my snout.
I gasped as I turned to David, who was a auburn werewolf. While I, myself am a white one.. The only difference I could see in us from the werewolf we saw in the cottage 'Professor Lee' was the mark on the side of our necks. A Sun with an eye.
That's when the growling became louder. Their pack of werewolves came into view, but they weren't that many, around 7 or 8, but something in there eyes told me we weren't welcome.
