Chapter 10- Misty Summers

As the carriage flew faster by seconds, I turned to David and noticed that he was gripping the chair, his eyes shut tight and his teeth gritted. "Hey, you okay?" I asked David, David once told me that he was scared of heights, so I knew he why was scared. "Yep" he answered through gritted teeth, I tried to make him feel better by telling him to take a look at the view, but he didn't dare. Once the carriage stopped David did a sigh of relief, I chuckled at his reaction. We stopped at a huge willow tree, which was surrounded by archer fairies. Queen Nora awaited us in front of the humongous tree, upon seeing us, she greeted us with a warm smile.

"I have been waiting for you two, do come in." She said as her smile grew wider. We entered into the tree through a small opening in one of tree's thick roots. Once we entered the first thing that caught my eye was a girl, just like me she had the same green eyes and burnt umber hair.. I gasped. "Omg, Lox you have a clone!" David squeaked. My mouth was still open from disbelief. "Hi my name is Misty Summers, I am your twin sister." She said with a small smile. Tears started to form in mine and her eyes too, tears of joy.. I know I haven't met her before but it felt right. She ran towards me and hugged me ever so tightly. I felt my heart fill with love because of my sister, my dear twin sister as I hugged back. "B-but how?!" I managed to ask.

"You two were taken away from each other while still babies, the worlds of Magica and Earth would have collapsed from unevenness, so one of you had to leave. Oh! I forgot to tell you, Misty is princess here in Winged Topia." Queen Nora replied. "Why hasn't my mother told me about this?" I asked, lost in my endless stream of thoughts. "Your mother didn't tell you because she found it much too dangerous, she didn't want you to find Magix because it holds much dangers." Nora answered with a more serious expression. Misty took my hand and kept a grip on it as she turned me, it felt like I knew her completely, although I just met her. David neared us both and asked "do I have a twin brother too?!" with much hope. Misty and Nora both chuckled and shook their heads in reply. And then David frowned.

"Wait a minute! If misty is a princess that means I am a-" I was speechless for I was a princess too. Nora nodded in reply, "wait so your my sister too?!" I chirped with excitement, and Nora smiled in reply, I ran up to Nora and hugged her, Misty joined the group hug too. Then Nora invited us to dinner, and boy was I starved! They served fruits and vegetables. We all laughed, talked and enjoyed the food.

It was getting late so David and I decided to go back to the rented mushroom house. I still couldn't believe that I had more sisters, Nora and Misty, both very beautiful young ladies. David gave me a playful push, I pushed him back harder in revenge and he fell, we both laughed till our stomachs ached. Once we reached the rent, I jumped and landed straight into the hammock and David laid on the bed. I wasn't able to sleep for hours, I kept in thinking about Misty and Nora.. How could mom hide this from me?! I mean she could have actually told me something! And finally, I drifted off to sleep. And a nice long, deep sleep. I woke up around 12 in the morning and guess what, the first thing I saw was David. He had his usual goofy smile "mornin Loxipopz" he chirped. "Five more minutes dad!" I joked, remember how he called me mom once? Hahah.

I opened my eyes just in time to see him roll his eyes, I smirked in reply to his act. "I brought you some breakfast" he said taking a basket of fruits from the cabinet. "Where'd you get that?!" I asked. "Well, while you were asleep I figured I'd better do something helpful for once." He answered handing me some fresh strawberries, "I'm impressed" I said giving him a chuckle. I began to gobble down my fruits until... I heard lots of.. SCREAMING!!..
