"Fire!"

"Get the buckets!"

"To the ocean!"

"What happened?"

Hookfang, with Snotlout on his back, comes flying over Gobber's burning house. He dumps a cart full of water, dosing some of the flames.

"The wind is shifting! Fire brigade, move in!" Dad orders. "Bring the Nadders in from the south!"

"I'm on it!" I call down from Vision's back. Saviour clings to my head as we fly over, dropping our own water onto the flames. Astrid and a bunch of other Nadders with water follows swiftly behind.

"Gronckles, aim for the roof!" Dad orders again.

Fishlegs and his Gronckles buzz right past us to help.

"Good work! Just a few hot spots left." Dad says.

I land, leaving Astrid to direct the Nadders.

"Where is Gobber?" Hiccup asks, also landing.

"Is he still inside?" I add.

"No." Can't find him." Dad responds.

I hear the sound of clanging metal, followed by a familiar voice.

"I'm right here." Gobber says. "That beast will pay for this."

Gobber starts to walk towards us, the wheel on his wheelbarrow squeaking loudly.

"Gobber, what happened?" Dad asks.

"What's it look like?" Gobber says. "A dragon set my home on fire."

"What?" I ask.

"You pushed me too far this time, you ugly bag of bones!" Gobber calls out into the sky.

Dad sighs.

"Dad, what he talking about?" I ask.

"Our dragons don't do that anymore." Hiccup adds.

"He doesn't mean one of yours." Dad says to us, before talking to Gobber. "Gobber, for the last time, there is no such thing as a—"

"Boneknapper?" Gobber interrupts.

The villagers all groan bearding this new dragon's name.

"Ho-go... what-knapper?" Tuff asks.

"A disgusting, foul beast, wearing a coat of stolen bones, like a giant, flying skeleton." Gobber explains.

"Ooh, ooh! The Book of Dragons says that the Boneknapper will stop at nothing to find the perfect bone to build its coat of armor. It's awesome." Fishlegs geeks out.

"Come on! It's a myth." Dad laughs. "It doesn't even exist."

"I'm telling you, it's real. I've been running from him my whole life." Gobber insists. "He's the one who started this fire."

"Stoick," a villager comes from the wreckage, "we found Gobber's underpants hanging by the stove. They must've started the fire."

Everyone laughs.

"Impeccable timing." I mutter to Astrid who over the course of Gobber's tale has come over to stand next to me.

"Still think it's the Boneknapper, or just your underpants?" Dad jokes.

"I don't think! I know!" Gobber yells. "Somehow he found me again. This dragon is pure evil."

"Gobber, it's late and we're too tired for your stories." Dad says. "Now get some rest."

"You rest." Gobber says, picking up the handles of his wheelbarrow. "I'm putting an end to this." Gobber walks off, down towards the docks. "Come on, Phil, let's go." He says to his new sheep he won a couple days ago in a card game with Silent Sven. Phil bleats and dutifully follows his master. "I don't need their help, anyway."
