It's been a couple of weeks since Dean died and they buried his body, Sam refusing to burn it. They've all been at Bobby's since then. Libby stays glued to Sam, as she always has, but if he's too unhappy she'll hang out with Bobby for a bit.

Ophelia is completely numb. At first, she refused to even get out of bed, too heartbroken over her father's death. She wouldn't stop crying into her pillow and she barely ate. With feeling her grief, along with everybody else's grief and sorrow, she's now just doing her best to ignore it all and get through her days without a meltdown.

Her pain is bad enough, but physically feeling everybody else's just makes her want to scream.

Bobby is sitting at the desk in his living room, reading the newspaper while Ophelia sits on the couch with her knees pulled up to her chest, staring blankly at the floor. Libby is sitting at the kitchen table, tiredly eating cereal, her sleep habits still not anywhere near decent.

Sam comes jogging down the stairs, a duffle bag over his shoulder.

"Where you going?" Bobby asks.

"Uh... I found a case." Sam says.

"Really?" Bobby asks.

"Yeah. Yeah, I'm just... I'm just gonna go check it out." Sam says.

"Well, let me pack a bag, the girls and I'll tag along." Bobby says.

"No, no. No, really, th-that's okay." Sam says. "I got this one on my own."

"You sure 'bout that? You haven't left since... well, you know. You sure you wanna be alone?" Bobby asks.

"Yeah. Yeah, I think it'd be good. It's just for a few days." Sam says. He forces a fake smile, looking over at Ophelia who is staring at him. He shifts uncomfortably, tearing his gaze away, feeling like she's staring into his soul.

"I don't want you to go." Libby says, getting up and going over to Sam, hugging him. Sam pulls her arms away from him and kneels in front of her.

"I know, but I don't want you going. It might be dangerous." Sam says, pushing some hair behind her hair. "I want you to stay safe here."

"Are you sure?" Libby asks.

"I'm sure. You can stay here and you'll get to play with Grandpa Bobby and Ophi." Sam says.

"How long are you gonna be gone?" Libby asks.

"Just a few days. It shouldn't take too long." Sam says.

"That's too long." The girl whines.

"I know, honey. I promise, it'll go by in a flash." Sam says.

"Just for a few days, right?" Libby asks.

"I will be back in a few days." Sam promises.

"Liar." Ophelia mumbles, walking past them and to the fridge, taking a bottle of strawberry milk out. They both turn to her, but she doesn't look at them, simply walking back to the couch.

"Are you lying?" Libby asks her father, worriedly.

"No. No, I'm not lying." Sam assures. "Ophi, uh... she's not her complete self, you know? She's going through a lot." He quietly tells Libby who nods. "I'll be back soon, okay?"

"Will you call me?" Libby asks.

"Of course." Sam says, giving her a small smile. "C'mere." He mumbles, pulling her into a tight hug. Libby hugs him back even tighter. They pull away and Sam kisses her on the head.

Sam goes over to the couch and stands by Ophelia, waiting for any reaction, but she doesn't give one. Sam leans down and kisses her cheek.

"I'll see you in a few days." Sam tells her.
