Chan, Jisung, and Changbin relaxed in the studio, waiting for Aria to come back from her break. It had been about five minutes already but they all knew it was important for her to have her space and quite time to herself. And however long that took, they would always wait patiently for her.
"I honestly think this is going to be a big hit once we release it." Changbin announced, leaning back and resting his hands behind his head.
"For sure." Han agreed, taking a swing from the water bottle he had in his hand. Not only was their group popular, but this gave Aria a chance to show herself in a good light to the community of music in general which would ultimately lead her to where she needed to be. Besides, they enjoyed collaborating with new artists as well as idols who were on the younger side. Chan, although proud of how far she had come, was worried about how the haters would effect her. He knew she struggled with her intense and sometimes negative emotions, so he had to make sure he was there when it got to her.
"I know this is going to be a good opportunity," Chan said, clearing his throat nervously, "but just make sure to watch her closely. I don't want her...hurting because of...people." He was fiddling with his hands as he said it but the other two knew how serious the topic was. There was the issue of over-enthusiastic fans as well, which always had any idol worried. And especially someone so young like Aria could easily get damaged before her career even truly began.
"Of course...she'll have all eight of us, including Hwan." Jisung declared in all seriousness.
"About Hwan actually," Changbin said, sitting up in his seat as if an intense conversation was about to go down, "I think he's a really nice guy," Changbin rubbed his neck n thought, "And I've seen he has helped Aria a lot."
Jisung and Chan gave him an confused look. Obviously Changbin's point was not getting across to them. He sighed, his hand slapping his knee.
"What I'm saying is, I think they should spend more time together and have their friendship...grow." He was obviously rattled by this point.
"You mean like a boyfriend and girlfriend kinda thing?" Chan questioned, head tilting.
"No no....well y-yes." Changbin stuttered. Maybe it had been a bad idea bringing this all up.
"Well, it would give her someone to lean on...besides us. And plus I feel like she needs someone else to trust who isn't a father-figure in her mind you know?" Han said thoughtfully.
"Ugh, thank you!" Changbin exclaimed, exasperated.
"I mean, that's not a terrible idea; and I think that-" Chan was cut off when he heard panicked screaming coming from outside the studio walls. Out of instinct, they all jumped to their feet, a focused manner taking over their thoughts. Hwan then burst into the room, out of breath and sounded just as panicked as the screams echoing in the hallways.
"Do you guys hear that?!" He breathed, bent over to catch his breath, "It sounded like Aria so I came to check if she was with you guys." When he scanned the room and found no trace of her, the blood rushed out of him and his heart leaped into his throat. Chan checked his watch, realizing it had been close to twenty minutes now. He wanted to curse at himself for being a little too reckless.
"She went to the bathroom to clear her mind but she never came back." What the hell?! Hwan thought, perplexed and angry. He couldn't waste anymore time just waiting here when there was physical screaming sounding through the building. Obviously the other thought the same because they had already reached the door where Hwan was standing. Negative and disturbing thoughts began to pollute his mind as they ran to help her before it was too late.
