"She'll be a very ideal first lady," senator Cantabria told Andres and laughed.

My dad laughed at that remark. "As long as Andres does his best when he enters politics."

I looked at my dad with confusion. What's with these first lady talks? It was not like I'm interested in politics to be an ideal first lady.

Are they indirectly telling us that we should date and get married?

"Pa, let's talk about your presidency first before we talk about me entering politics," Andres said with a straight expression. I cannot tell if he was mad or not.

Senator Cantabria laughed and patted Andres' back. "You are so strict, anak. This kid always wants to keep me on track. I'm just a proud father excited for your future in politics so we also have to prepare everything including your future first lady." He looked at me and I did not like that one bit.

"First lady po?" I asked before I could even stop myself.

"Yes, dear, we thought that it is best for both families in terms of business and politics if you two will be... close." Dad smiled at me but his eyes were begging me to just go with it.

My mouth flew open but I had to control myself and my emotions. I had to stop myself from reacting negatively but I felt betrayed. They never informed me about their plans for me. They never mentioned anything about an arranged marriage!

I looked at Andres and senator Cantabria before looking at my dad again. "But we're not being forced into it, right?"

"Of course not," Senator Cantabria answered.

I smiled at them and nodded even though I did not want to. "Okay." I'll just give my dad a piece of my mind when we get home.

I did not want to disrespect him in front of his colleagues and I also didn't want to come off as a disrespectful daughter.

I wanted to throw a fit and tell him that I already like someone else but I know that it wouldn't do me any good. I just gave them a fake smile.

"We'll leave you two to get acquainted," dad said.

"Andres, why don't you show Callie around. Be a gentleman, okay?" Senator Cantabria told Andres before they all left us alone.

Andres looked at me, he had light brown eyes and soft caucasian features. I cannot deny that he was really good-looking but he's just that. "How old are you again?" he asked me.

"I just turned 15 last month," I answered.

He frowned as if my age was disappointing. "You're into politics already?"

I shook my head. "Not really, but I can adjust if my parents needed me to... You're planning on entering politics?"
