Chapter 27

Y/N's POV:

The four of us- me, Jake, Justin and Lilly, were standing outside the bar.. The rest of the group was already inside. We were still standing outside because Jake was just so nervous.

"It will be alright, Jake! C'mon.. Do you want us to stand here forever?"

"I-I.. Hannah.. How will I tell her the truth? How will she react?"

"Well we won't know until we tell her.. So c'mon on!"

I dragged him inside not giving him the chance to negotiate. Justin and Lilly were following behind us.. I could feel Jake tense beside me as we were moving closer to the group.

"Hey guys!!"

"Hey, MC!" They all greeted, all at once. Then they greeted Lilly and even Justin.

"Who is this, MC?" Jessy asked me curiously.

"Well.. Guys.. Meet-"

"Jake!"

Hannah exclaimed, cutting me off. All of them gasped and their eyes widened. Hannah came to us and wrapped her arms around Jake, making me loose my grip of his arm.

"Hannah" Jake whispered, as he hugged her back.

"I missed you so much, Jake! I knew that you would find me."

"No.. It's not me who found you, Hannah.. It was MC."

Hannah turned to me.. I smiled at her. Then she suddenly hugged me too. "Thank you, MC. Really."

All of us were happily chatting and laughing. It was the best night ever! Everyone was so content.

Throughout the night Phil kept flirting with me, earning death glares from Jake. It was really amusing to see jealous Jake.

All three of the siblings, kept thanking me through the night. It was sweet and heart warming at first but then I was getting annoyed by it.

"If you three don't stop thanking me, I'll kidnap all of you myself... And keep you.. At different places!" I finally said. There. Now dare to thank me. They all laughed. I wasn't joking though.

As the night was coming to an end... Jake started getting nervous again.

"What happened, Jake? Is everything alright?" I asked him with concern.

"I should tell her the truth now."

"Truth? Oh! Yeah... Would you be fine? I think you should tell her alone."

"Um.. Yeah. I'll be back."

He went to Hannah, and then I saw them walking out of the bar. They needed to discuss this alone.

Jake's POV:

I was alone with Hannah outside the bar. I didn't knew how to tell the truth to her. I was so afraid of her reaction. But I had to do it.

"What is it, Jake? You can tell me." She softly asked me.

"Hannah.. I-i.. Am.. I am your.. I am your half brother!"

I said it, finally. A heavy weight was off my chest. I immediately looked away from her, too afraid to see her reaction. She didn't respond anything for a few minutes.

"What? You are my half brother? Lilly and mine?" She asked, looking shocked as ever.

"Yes Hannah. I am your and Lilly's half brother."

"Is that why you cut off your contacts with me? Because I started to fall in love with you?" She hesitantly asked.

"Yes, exactly."

"Who was it? Dad or mom?"

"Your dad. I mean.. Our dad."

Hannah hugged me. She wasn't angry or anything that I expected her to be. I wasn't ready for this reaction of hers after finding out the truth.

"I was in love with you, Jake. Yes! But that was long ago. I have Thomas now. And he's amazing! You were my first love, that's why I was so upset that you hadn't even visited me in the hospital all those months ago. But now, I have you again.. And isn't it amazing that we are actually related? I am so happy to have you as my brother."

"Wait.. Really?" I asked with wide eyes.

"Yes... Brother... Really." She smiled.

"Does Lilly know about this?" She then asked.

"Yeah.. She wasn't meant to find it out but.. When we were trying to find you.. I had to reveal my relation with you to MC. That's when Lilly found out about it too."

"MC.. This is all possible because of her! I am so grateful to her, Jake."

"I know.. Me too.. This is all possible because of her." A smile made it's way onto my lips at the mention of MC's name.

"Tell me.. Do you love her?" Hannah asked me with a big grin.

"Wh-what.. Y-Yeah.. I do." I admitted, probably blushing.

"Great! Soon I'll have her as my sister in law!"

"what.. Hannah.. You are making me blush!"

We laughed and talked a bit more before going inside again. I felt so light and on top of the world. Everything was finally coming to peace now.

We went inside and Hannah excused herself to go sit with Thomas. I found my way towards MC.. I saw Justin and Cleo laughing with each other.. Looks like those two got good company too.

I saw Phil, telling something to MC and she laughed. I felt jealous. That guy has been trying to be all over her. I went towards them and he looked at me and nodded in greeting. I ignored him. I sat beside MC and placed my arm around her waist. Phil excused himself to serve the other guests, leaving us there alone. Yes that's right.. Stay away from her.. She's only mine.

MC: So?

Me: It went well... She was happy.

MC: Awesome! I told you it would be fine! You were worrying for no reason.

Me: Yeah..

MC: Jake?

Me: Yes?

MC: I have a surprise for you for tomorrow.

Me: What? Surprise? What is it?

MC: Will it be a surprise if I tell you?

Me: Right.. No, it won't be.

Both of us laughed. This was the best night of my life.. I wonder what her surprise for me is...
