Paige:

So this is what it was like to be intoxicated.

I didn't like it.

As my drunken self roamed around aimlessly, I was screaming in the back of the my mind "COULD YOU NOT?"

Finally I spot Maz an call out to her,"MAZZY!"

She turns around and walks over to me.

She grins deviously and says,"So, this is drunk Paige?"

I nod stupidly and say,"We gotta go back to Lynndy."

In my head I was yelling,"What kind of nickname is that?"

Maz just laughs and says,"Okay, lead the way, O wise one."

I lead her back to Lyndon whom is sitting there with his feet up on the table.

He notices us about 40 seconds after we sit down and says,"Hello bestest friends!" He grins like a maniac,"Top of the morning to ya!"

I just grin back while Maz looks confused.

Finally realisation flashes in her eyes and she says,"You're both drunk."

Lyndon and I aren't listening, the DJ had turned on the coloured lights and we were staring at the ceiling like we had never seen anything like it before.

"But it's always me who gets drunk and you two who are the boring, sober friends.

"Oh how the tables have turned,"Lyndon says,"90 degrees counterclockwise on the point (3,6)."

Maz sighs and says,"Well, since I can't drink we need to bounce. Otherwise we're walking home."

So with that we leave the Underground.

We go to a motel downtown called Drury Lane Inn, which is where people go if they want to have an affair or to run away from their parents.

Why we are here is a mystery to me.

When we check in I see the clerk give Lyndon and I a confused look. We are both leaning on each other for support, teetering this way and that dangerously.

He hands Maz the room key and says,"And remember you have to pay for any damages."

Maz nods and walks up the stairs to the next floor.

Lyndon and I follow her the best we can, keeping balanced by holding onto the handrails and the side of the stairs.

We get to our room and Maz opens it with the room key.

She motions for us to go in first and I walk inside followed by Lyndon.

The room has a bathroom which is by the door, with a larger space behind it that has two beds and a TV on a dresser.

I flop on the bed on the far side of the room.

Lyndon slumps on the floor between the two beds.

Maz sits in a chair in front of the TV and starts to watch something.

Lyndon looks up at me and starts to laugh loudly.

I look at him and ask,"What's funny Lyndon?"

The alcohol was starting to wear off of me, though I still couldn't function properly.

Lyndon was still getting it full effect.

Still laughing he says,"I...kissed...you. I...still...want to."

I just lay there and stare at the ceiling, thinking in my head, what is he playing at?

Then in a flash he pokes my side, I shriek by reflex and then slap my hand over my mouth.

Maz raises an eyebrow at the TV and says,"Lyndon whatever you just did, don't."

Lyndon grins manically and sits cross legged on the bed beside me.

I eye him warily and he continues to grin.

Then he's right over me and is tickling both my sides.

I laugh uncontrollably and barley manage to say,"P-please...s-stop...Lyndon!"

After a few minutes he stops and flips over to lay beside me.

He looks over at me and smiles.

I roll me eyes and roll to the opposite side of the bed.

I hear him sigh and roll over behind me.

By now Maz had gotten tired and laid down and ad turned all the lights off so I could see much.

Lyndon starts to drift off.

His breathing grows steady and then suddenly he wraps his arms around me.

I know that it's just a reflex but it still makes my heart race.

Though the room is cool, I feel warm and safe.

Eventually I drift off to sleep.
