Casper's pov-
I could hear Caspian yelling at Carter from his office and it took everything in me to not burst in and punch him in the face. I get she fucked up but she does not deserve to be spoken to like that. She's still getting used to being here, used to our rules. Now is the time we need to be understanding and a little more lenient. It's not the time to scream in her face.
" Caspian?! Where the fuck are you?!" I shouted when I got downstairs. Carson and Callum's faces were full of shock at hearing me raise my voice, something I don't think I've ever done. " What's going on?" Carson asked, ripping his ear buds out. I didn't get a chance to reply before Caspian walked into the room, a towel pressed up against his face, stained in blood.
" What's all the shouting?" he asked. I strode over to him, I hauled off and clocked him straight into his already bloody nose. He stumbled back a bit as more blood gushed out of his nose. " Jesus Christ, what the hell is going on?" Carson asked, watching the situation with unease.
Callum walked over to Caspian and held up a fistful of bloody hair and flesh that was obviously Carter's. " She had a fucking panic attack and ended up ripping her own hair out. Not only that but then she fucking passed out. You scared her so badly she fucking passed out!" Callum barked, getting in Caspian's face.
It was rare for us to fight. I know you'd think four brothers were bound to fight but not us. We rarely got into arguments and we almost never got physical with each other. Until today I had never laid a hand on any of my brothers. " What the fuck did you do, Caspian?" Carson asked, anger weaved into his tone.
Caspian looked at the bloody hair and flesh with a look of guilt and horror. " She did that to herself?" he asked in disbelief. Callum scoffed, " Can you fucking blame her?! After all the shit you said." we were all glaring at Caspian, a man who we usually all highly respected and looked up to. But now I was literally and figuratively looking down on him.
It's clear to all of us Carter hasn't had an easy life. We all know she has been through some shit even though we don't know all the details. We all saw her medical files and how fucked up they were and yet he still thought it'd be okay to yell at her like that. " I mean you actually yelled at her about being killed and raped! Caspian, she's fourteen years old! She's just a kid." Callum exasperated.
" You did what?" Carson asked in horror. In the blink of an eye he had crossed the room and clocked Caspian right in the nose. I had to bite back a smile. " Fucking Christ, can everyone stop hitting me?! I get it, I fucked up! I'm sorry." he said, storming off into his office. Carson turned to face Callum, " Is she okay?" he asked worriedly.
He shook his head slightly, " I don't know, she was pretty distraught. I'm definitely worried about her." he said, rubbing his jaw. I wanted to go up and check on Carter but Callum told me she was asleep. Instead I went to the library and picked out a book. Reading always makes me feel better. I took a seat in the back, where I was least likely to be interrupted.
I really hope she's okay.

Carter's pov-
Fuck, fuck, fuck, I'm late. Chris is gonna fucking kill me. I was full on sprinting down the block, racing to get home. School let out late today since we had to go into lock down. As soon as they lifted the lock down I ran home like my life depended on it, because it literally did.
As soon as I stepped foot through the front door I was knocked on my ass. Chris had punched me in the head so hard it made the room spin. I let out a small groan, clutching my head. Another blow to the head came when he kicked me in the head. My head hit the ground with a thud and blood flowed out of my mouth.
