Friends Are Here to Help

Caitlin is lying on a bed, still unconscious. Her eyes slowly open once again and she lifts her upper body forward.

"Ow my head" she says as she rests her hand on her forehead.

She then looks around the room, wondering where the heck she is right now.

Amy Rose, the pink hedgehog who was waiting right outside the door, noticed that the young girl was now awake.

"Hey guys look, she's awake!"

She alerts her other friends, which included Sonic, Tails, and Cream.

The four of them then quickly gathered into the room.

She gets startled as she sees them walking close toward her.

"Huh, where am I? Who are you people?"

"Hey don't be afraid. We're here to help you" says Tails, the yellow two-tailed fox.

"Yeah don't worry. My mom and I are happy to keep you company here at our home, says Cream, the little rabbit.

"Oh, well that's very kind of you all." Caitlin said as she was humbled to be staying at her home.

They all introduced themselves to her one by one.

After giving out her introduction, Amy was very eager to get caught up on the girl's full story.

"Alright, so now that we've all introduced ourselves, you mind telling us where you're from and why you were working with Eggman?"

"Oh, well I just so happened to come across him and his ship and was hoping he'd be able to help me find my father. I trusted him at first but then he started discussing to me his plan to start a war on another planet."

"Did he tell you what this planet was?" asked Tails.

"Well no he didn't. He did, however, showed me some pictures of the planet and told me that it was inhabited with evil cyborgs who plan to attack our planet."

Tails immediately figured out what she was talking about.

"Oh no! It must be those same tyrants who have been trying to plot their revenge on us for years."

"Those creeps have especially been pestering us lately, as we have been receiving some weird mixed signals, according to Tails' recent data!" Amy explained as she got furious just thinking about them.

The human girl got more and more concerned as she continues to hear more about this planet.

"So Eggman wasn't kidding about all this happening" she thought to herself.

"I just hope none of them had anything to do with my dad..."

Sonic tried comforting her as he saw how sad she looked.

"Hey everything's going to be okay. We'll help you find your father" he tells her as he rests his hand on her shoulder.

"Why thank you" she smiled sweetly at him, "and thank you so much for saving me back there."

"Hey it's no problem, and thank you for trying to stop Eggman from completely obliterating me." He smiled and gave her a thumbs up as he thanked her.

Caitlin blushed a little and replied back to him, "Oh it was nothing really."

Sonic then starts walking away and motions the others to follow him.

"Well we'll leave you to rest some more. We'll come back to check on you later ok."

The four friends left the room and Caitlin went back to rest some more. It took her a while to get back to sleep as she couldn't stop thinking about everything that has happened since she had left home.

Later on in the evening, Caitlin had woken up once again from her slumber. She got out of bed and took a walk around the house. She then came across Vanilla the Rabbit, who was sitting in her living room chair doing some knitting.

"Why hello dear. Caitlin is it? Had a good rest?"

Caitlin replied back, "Yeah I'm feeling a lot better and my headache has gone away now. Thank you so much for allowing me to rest at your house."

"You're welcome sweetie. Here have some cookies. I'm sure you must be hungry."

"Oh yes, very much so. I haven't eaten at all since I left home."

As she picked up to eat a cookie from the tray, Cream then entered into the room with her chao, Cheese.

"Hi Caitlin. You feeling any better? I forgot to introduce you to my chao, Cheese."

Caitlin was both surprised and amazed to see the little chao, as she had never seen a creature like it before.

"Aww it's so cute! What exactly are these chao?"

"It's hard to describe what they actually are. They are little alien creatures but they are great companions to us."

Cream offered Caitlin a chance to pet the little chao's head. Cheese was very pleased to meet Caitlin and offered her a handshake as well.

"We have lots of them around here, and they have a whole garden to themselves" said the little rabbit, "I'd be happy to show you their garden."

"Sure that'd be great!"

Caitlin was very excited to meet more new chao. Overall, she felt very content on this new planet so far and looked forward to discovering more new things about.
