Jorgeous's POV:
----

I swung my legs back and forth as I sat in the old tire swing I used to use all the time when I was little. I was still small, so I might as well use it to entertain myself while I waited for Orion.

The couple of days have felt like forever, and I couldn't wait to see her. She had texted me not too long ago saying she was ten minutes away, and I looked up at every passing car to see if it was hers.

I checked my phone again and frowned. It had been twenty minutes since that text. I told myself that it was probably just traffic or she got lost, but something felt off. I swung myself back and forth once more and was about to text Orion again until hearing sirens.

I jumped and turned to watch the ambulance and police cars come speeding down the street. The noise instantly sent me back into the memory of my reoccurring nightmare. A shiver ran down my spine as I watched them go.

Then it hit me.

My eyes widened. I stared back down at my phone. Orion hadn't even read the last text I sent. She always responds fast. I thought it was because she had just been driving. But this was too weird to be a coincidence.

"N-No..." I whispered to myself, getting down from the swing and speed walking down the walkway. "No no no..."

The next thing I knew I was running. My nightmare replayed over and over in my head as I did. The noise of the sirens sounded so far away, but I followed them the best I could. I was terrified of what I would find when I finally caught up to them. My gut told me exactly what. In this moment I had never felt so alone, like everything had been ripped away from me.

Tears were running down my cheeks before I even saw the first police car that was busy stopping traffic. My heart pounded in my chest as I tried catching my breath, looking around as best as I could. Just past the police car was a bent up truck, the person who had been inside nowhere to be found. My body shook uncontrollably when I turned around, seeing the smashed remains of Orion's car against a now crumbled brick wall.

It still didn't seem real until I saw her.

She laid away from her car in the street, having been pulled out by someone who had arrived before me. She was limp and unmoving, her hair covering her face and not allowing me to see her fully. Paramedics were crouched around her, their faces clearly showing how worried they were.

I felt frozen in place. I couldn't move. I opened my mouth to speak but all that came out was a cry. I watched them lift Orion onto the gurney, finally breaking when they took her to the ambulance.

"Orion!" I screamed out, my body snapping out of it and running towards the ambulance. I was stopped when one of the paramedics moved in front of me, keeping me from getting to her.

"What's your relation, kid?" He asked calmly.

I was too scared and worried to even get mad about him calling me kid. I reached passed him, struggling to breathe as I cried. "That's my girlfriend!" I choked out in a sob, shaking as I tried getting to her. "That's my world, my everything! P-Please let me see her-"

The paramedic sighed but stood back, letting me into the ambulance with them. I rushed to Orion's side, my entire world feeling like it came crumbling down when I saw the state she was in.

"M-My Ry-Ry..." My voice came out in a squeak, taking hold of Orion's hand in my shaky one. It was completely limp. I didn't like it. "Ry-Ry p-please it's me- It's Jorgeous-" More and more tears spilled down my cheeks and onto her arm. "Please wake up Ry-Ry, p-please-"
