Jasmine's POV:
----At least the windows in the van were tinted. That way I was less embarrassed about being seen in it now that Alyssa had spray painted the band's name on the side of it. That wouldn't have been too bad if she had spelt it right. But that didn't happen.
Daya had woken us up at 4am. Earlier than she had originally said much to poor Angie's dismay. She was currently knocked out on Camden's lap, despite Daya and Maddy screaming along to lyrics from some band I didn't know. It was way too early for all this.
I adjusted myself in the backseat, holding a sleepy Bosco against my side. She sighed as she tried getting comfortable, whining as she held Jeffrey to her chest. I could tell she was starting to get frustrated.
"Daya? Can you please turn the music down?" I had to raise my voice so she could hear me.
Thank God she listened. "Sorry, sorry." She apologized. "Got a little carried away."
I sighed, adjusting myself once more so my back faced the window. "Come here, baby." I held my arms out for Bosco.
Bosco leaned over onto my chest, starting to calm down now that the music was quieter. She rubbed her eyes, yawning softly. "How much longer?"
"Trust me, you don't want to know." Maddy said from the front seat, glancing at the GPS on her phone. "We'll stop soon."
"Promise?" Willow asked, nervously playing with her seatbelt as she looked up at Maddy with wide eyes.
"I promise. We'll stop for some snacks soon okay?" Maddy tried to reassure her.
Willow nodded and I sighed, leaning my head back against the window. At least I wasn't the only one who was still uneasy about being in cars. Bosco grabbed onto my hand and I looked down at her.
"We're okay, Min." She said quietly, putting the stuffed animal in my arms instead. "Hold Jeffrey. He helps."
I'll let her believe that. She laid her head back down on my chest and closed her eyes, trying to fall asleep despite the bumpy road we were on.
There were so many thoughts running through my head right now. The big ones being the fact that two of my new best friends were getting married tomorrow and that there was a certain something hidden deep in my suitcase where Bosco wouldn't find it.
She had definitely come close to finding it. I knew she'd try snooping around after she almost opened my drawer, so I had to risk keeping it on me most of the time so she wouldn't go looking through things in suspicion.
I ended up dozing off, head resting against Bosco's until Daya finally pulled into a gas station. I opened my eyes when hearing the door open, gently shaking Bosco. "Come on, Coco. Let's go get snacks."
Bosco yawned but got up, climbing out of the van with my hand in hers and Jeffrey in her other. Camden tried to wake Angie but that wasn't happening any time soon. She climbed out behind us, leaning her head against my arm as we walked into the store.
"How much longer now?" She asked as she rubbed her eyes, immediately going for the candy.
"Four hours." Maddy told her, busy staring at her phone. "I'd wake Angie to tell her to let her mom know where we are but I'm afraid she'll bite me or something."
Camden giggled a little, grabbing a handful of lollipops. "I'll handle it. I know the password to her phone."
I grabbed an energy drink from one of the fridges, turning to see Bosco gravitating towards those big eyed stuffed animals all gas stations seemed to have. "...Baby we're supposed to getting snacks."
