❌TW: Slight refusing to eat in Angie's POV❌
Angie's POV:
----I brushed through Camden's ginger hair as carefully as possible, heart breaking at the sound of her sniffles. She had been crying on and off since we got home late that night, and I hadn't left her sight since.
"You have to eat sometime today, sugar." I told her quietly, afraid of scaring her if I raised my voice any higher.
Camden just shook her head, pressing herself farther against my chest, if that was even possible. "Don't want to."
I sighed softly, kissing the top of her head. "Please, sugarcube? Jasmine mentioned that y'all are working on the stage tomorrow and I want you to have all the energy you can get."
Camden just went quiet, turning around and burying her face in my neck. I placed the brush down and wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her closer and kissing her temple. "Please...?" I repeated quietly.
After a moment, she finally raised her head, rubbing her eyes tiredly. She had hardly slept at all, only crying and staring off into space. "Alright..." She gave in, her voice cracking as she wrapped her arms around my neck.
I smiled, giving her another kiss before standing up and sitting her down on her own bed. "I'll go grab some food from the food court. I won't be long." I told her, handing her her laptop. "How about you facetime your friend? She seems to always make you laugh."
That seemed to make her cheer up a little. She eagerly nodded as she opened up her laptop and I sighed in relief, grabbing my jacket and leaving to get us food.
Camden's POV
----"She's treating you well, right? Not like some of these weird dudes you've been with?" River asked. I hadn't told her about what happened, I knew it would just scare her.
Instead I had told her more about Angie. I nodded in response, resting my head on one of my stuffed animals. "She's amazing, River. I can't wait for you to meet her when you come visit."
"I can't wait either." River smiled, twirling her hair. "Then I can fully judge her and make sure she's good for you."
I shook my head but giggled softly. "She's the best thing to ever happen to me, Riv..." I admitted, not noticing River looking behind me from the other side of the screen. "She's so pretty and she's so gentle with me. She tells me she loves me all the time and she always makes sure I'm okay. She gives the best hugs and kisses in the world. And I'm just...I'm just so head over heals in love with her..." I hid my blushing face in the fur of the stuffed animal.
River was quiet, and I was about to continue before there was a hand on my back.
"Aw sugarcube, I love you so much." Angie cooed softly and I immediately jumped up, my eyes wide in embarrassment. "I-I- Angie-"
River laughed loudly, throwing herself back on her bed. "I watched her come in behind you! I can't believe you didn't notice!"
I huffed and glared at River, knowing my face was probably bright red. "Hush or I'll shut the laptop on you-"
River just laughed more, and I heard Angie giggle from beside me. She set the bag of food down on one of the desks, leaning down and kissing my blushing cheek. "Don't be embarrassed, darlin'. Now introduce me to your friend." She sat beside me and I squeaked when I was pulled up into her lap.
I couldn't help but lean back against her, pouting and crossing my arms. "Angie, this is my best friend, River. Riv, this is my girlfriend I've told you about, Angie."
