A couple of hours later, the group of youngsters found themselves standing at the entrance of the bridge with their backs towards Auradon as they faced the Isle. Mal was gripping Ben’s hand tightly as she certainly didn’t feel like going back over there, shivers racked down her spine, she felt a hand rub her shoulder following the owner of the hand she saw Evie smiling at her. None of them since adventuring into Auradon had gone back; the few that did, only returned for items or like Ceila who went to visit her father. Ben noticed the others looking confused and bored as they waited for their ride. Anthony arrived with his daughter just as a ‘honk’ behind the group, had the whole group turning around.
Gasps were all around as a black and white Limousine with a graffiti design on its hood in writing that no one could understand turned up. Harriett smiled to herself as she looked over the paint job, her brother had done well so far. Diego exited the driver seat before walking around to the door and opening it for all of them. Anthony rode up front with Diego and CJ. The interior design was priceless, the leather red seats stood out to the black carpet. Led lights fitted above the seats with a controller to change the colours. Harriett recognised it as the old party limousine she had, looks like her brother improved it. The windows were black so no one could see in or out and were controlled by a remote to tint the windows. Which Alice found as she started pressing buttons as rock music played through the back, giving most a fright. Harriett was quick to turn it off while she grabbed the remote and tinted the windows so they could look out the windows. Alice was fascinated by the outside, thankfully Harriett was riding backwards as she looked through the window leading to the drivers section. She could see Anthony smiling at her through the mirror as he laughed with CJ. Diego had a strict expression on his face but Harriett could see the nerves behind his features. When Harriett originally met Diego when her younger brother first started dating him on the Isle before he vanished leaving a confused Harry behind, he was not your typical De Vil, he wasn’t anything like Carlos and certainly not like Cruella. He had a gleam in his eye that no one could recognise or make sense of. He had a gang on the Isle but it didn’t last long as he became part of the Hook family helping them run errands and get away from their nasty Uncle. Remembering the way Diego made people shiver on the Isle when they threatened her siblings or any family, made her approve of him. But, it faltered when Diego vanished into thin air leaving her confused brother behind, who turned cold-hearted and became a pirate that everyone feared. The Hook reputation on the Isle was one to be feared. Thoughts ran around her mind as she thought back to the day Diego introduced her to Anthony.
Uma stared out the window recognising the path ahead, she alerted Gil grabbing his hand and pointing to the sign at the sign of the road. Just as the car took a turn into the forbidden forest, catching Mal’s eye who made a calming down gesture. Jay spoke up, “Hey, isn’t the reason why the forbidden forest is called the forbidden forest because of it being forbidden?” as he turned his body and head in the direction of the driver at the wheel. Who ignored the question all together as well as everyone trying to get his attention. The car came to a stop as Diego got out of the car, locking the occupants in the car ignoring the looks and silent yelling he couldn’t hear through the windows as he punched in a code allowing the gates to slowly open. Silently he got back in the car still ignoring its occupants as he drove towards the house in front of them, looking through the rear-view mirror to make sure the gates closed. Jay was annoyed because of the lack of answers to his questions and he could tell many of the others were too. The only ones seeming not bothered were the Hooks, Anthony, Alice, Carlos, Ben and Mal.
The limousine slowly came to a stop on the drive way of the house or mansion whatever you wanted to call it. The occupants got out as Diego opened the door for them. Many of whom were annoyed and were sending Diego some sharp looks as he blatantly ignored them. Jane came to a stop as she recognised where they were, but before she could speak Lonnie chipped in, “Hey, isn’t this the house known as the ‘ghost house’?”. Confirming Jane’s question, Diego only nodded as Lonnie clung to Jane’s arm as they looked at the house that had been taken over by nature slightly. Harriett laughed as the door sprung open to reveal two toddlers who ran straight for her and Anthony who welcomed them with hugs. Anthony spun one of the toddlers around before putting the child down as his own daughter tugged on his pants leg for the same treatment. The young boy who had just been placed on the ground by Anthony walked over to the group to inspect the others, he walked past many of them before stopping in front of Gil and holding his hands up to be picked up. Gil looked down in confusion as the child continued to stare at him. Gil was frozen and clearly uncomfortable but thankfully Diego rescued him by picking up the young boy. Turning to the boy Diego spoke, “What have we been telling you about going up to strangers and not introducing yourself with a threat?”, he heard a few chuckles behind him as the young boy looked confused in his direction. The young girl in Harriett’s arms demanded down as she ran over to Diego who picked the little impatient child up to. Ben and Mal shared a smile as they looked over to the children. “But daddy, papa says to hook them”, the little girl exclaimed as the boy continued, “Like pirates do, daddy! Where’s papa?”. Replying would be difficult to anyone else but it came as a natural to Diego “Well I’m sorry young ones but your papa is running late per usual, and we do not hook people. I must have a word with papa about this” laughing as he gestured for the group to follow him into the house. Once the children were out of his arms, they ran up the stairs as quick as their little legs could take them. Leaving Diego with the others once again, as he watched the two race each other.
