The Hook Family Secret (Former Title:Harry Hook's Secrets) (BOOK ONE)

Chapter 16

Hades smiled when he saw them. He looked proud looking down at his watch. Diego looked annoyed but that was probably because Cruella was sitting opposite him. But, she didn’t look like their Cruella. Carlos tightened his grip on Jay who gripped him tighter not letting go of him. 

Ben’s parents and Fairy Godmother sat at the table next to their children. Evie inwardly groaned when she saw two familiar faces. Audrey and Chad sat opposite Anthony, Harriett and CJ. The group moved forward and took respected seats, Diego moved out of his so Jay and Carlos could sit next to one another while he moved to lean against a pillar sending a warning glare Hades' way. Thomas moved to lean next to him, the two were seen behind the other Hooks.

“It’s nice of you all to join us” Persephone's gentle voice broke through the tense atmosphere. “I’m sorry we are late, we had a few problems” Mal spoke gently despite the anger inside of her. Evie gripped her hand in reassurance, Mal was quick to squeeze back. “Now that you have joined us, we can get to the problem at hand” Belle said as she turned to Diego who had walked closer to the table leaning on the back of Hades chair without a care in the world. 

Harriett quickly cut in, “This isn’t Cruella at the table, this is Diego’s sister Delphine she just looks like Cruella”. Reassuring everyone, Carlos looked at her before turning his attention on Diego who looked ready to kill anyone of them. “You said last night that you had some news to share,” said Mal. 

Diego nodded, looking more annoyed than usual as he explained, “Last night I received some terrible news from Smee that something had happened back home and if it weren’t for Delphine I wouldn’t know if it was the truth or not. Last night while everyone was catching up on beauty sleep and the kingdom of Auradon failed its people once again”, ignoring the looks the royals were giving him, he continued “My kids were kidnapped and stolen in the middle of the night. I didn’t believe it so I sent Delphine to check and she confirmed it to me. I know who took them and what’s even worse, Mal your daughter was taken to”. Mal gasped in shock as she looked at Ben who stared at Diego and Delphine. Ben went to speak when Lonnie exclaimed, “How do we know you're telling the truth, you're a villain. You could be lying!”. Diego breathed deeply as he smiled at Lonnie addressing the others in the room, “Because dear one, I do not lie about children being kidnapped. Yes I am a villain, thank you for stating the obvious, but…”. Diego groaned as he held his head in pain. “Diego!” Delphine and Carlos ran forward, Jay quickly following to stand near Carlos. Diego cursed as he stood with the help of his sister and cousin glaring at the Fairy Godmother with pure hatred in his eyes. He shrugged off his family before stalking around to where she sided, before slamming an object on the table in front of her. It was her wand which was in the shape of a dagger still covered in Harrys and Evie’s dried blood. 

“Explain that!” Diego commanded. She stared at him in fright, “No! I will not be spoken to like that and threatened to answer”, she put her foot down. “What like you did to Harry?”. The Fairy Godmother gulped, “Who are you?” she asked. “Diego De Vil, Harry's partner”. “I don’t see a ring, where is he?”. “He’s dead because the Auradon kids couldn’t keep their minds clear!” Diego yelled at the woman in front of him. “We wouldn’t be on this journey if it weren’t for you spoiled rotten heroes, who are nothing but selfish. So yes I am a villain and I like it because I do not fake my actions and though not easily forgivable, not like some heroes who do one bad thing and then forgive easily". Diego ranted smiling at the angry looks on the Auradon people’s faces. His smile got wider when he saw the smiles on the Hook families faces. 

“Hey! Let's get back on track. My daughter is missing!” Ben exclaimed to get everyone’s attention. Ben then turned to Delphine, “You said that you know who took the kids”. She smiled, “It was the bloody Crocodile”. Mal felt her shoulders shake as she heard the name ‘crocodile’. She looked at Uma and Gil who went white when they heard the name. Harry’s kids were in the hands of the Crocodile and so was her daughter. Adam stood up to address everyone, “Have no fear Ben we will have all Auradon’s forces here if we so wish by this afternoon to help us get your daughter back. Determination was on Adam’s face Belle stood with her husband. Audrey, Chad and Doug were quick to stand. Lonnie and Jane followed soon after with the Fairy Godmother. Belle turned to Persephone ignoring Hades, “Will you stand with us”. Persephone went to reply when the doors abruptly slammed open as a vindictive person walked into the room. They were definitely a pirate from their attire that they were wearing. The eyeliner was another obvious reason and the sword. But what was the give away was the Hook attached to the person's left hand. The whistling caught them all off guard as the said person walked closer to the table in the light. Mal recognised the tune when Harry helped settle her daughter. The man in front of her was a splitting image of Harry and Thomas but just a little older.

“Captain Hook, I thought you were dead?” Hades exclaimed as Adam reached for his sword in defence. “Aye Hades I would be if it weren’t for Blackbeard stealing my spot in revenge. I’ve been busy elsewhere”. Answering Hades before turning to the group, “Killian Jones at your service!” he smiled. CJ crashed into his chest and he gladly hugged back. Harriett made her way over as Thomas slowly walked over. 

“Great another sibling to the insane family” Lonnie exclaimed, Hook glares were sent her way. “Aye lass, you would be wrong”. Lonnie turned on Killian, in confusion. “I am their father, now where's my youngest?”. Lonnie gasped but didn’t back her glare down. “Hell probably” Diego bluntly put as he hugged Killian, who laughed despite the looks of horror in the room.

Turning to Mal, “What do you say lass, lets go get my grandkids back and your daughter?”. Mal was absolutely confused but nodded. He smiled gently at them before looking at the royals, “It would be a bad idea to bring the Auradon guards to Neverland, there would be a lot of blood shed” he gestured widely with his arms while he still held Thomas to his side. Mal smiled and she liked the cheekiness of Killian. He wore a wedding ring on his hand. He caught her staring as he said, “Will any of you heroes be joining us, as I know where he is keeping them. As much as the Hooks are survivors I don’t know whether the little ones have picked up on that yet”. 

“Do you have a plan?” Ben said, directing his question at Captain Hook. “Aye lad”. After a few minutes of silence, Adam spoke, “So are you going to share anytime soon”. “No” came the reply. “Why not?” Belle questioned. “Because you haven’t apologised for treating my son like trash, Harry died for you all and yet you moved on like he was nobody…” . “or even better you're glad he is dead” Diego interjected before Killian could finish. Belle shook her head at Adam and Fairy Godmother who looked as if they were thinking. “Yeah we are glad he is dead. One less Villain to take care off” Lonnie spoke as she held her head high.

“Is that so?” a voice behind the Hook Family turned everyone’s attention to the said person where Mulan stood. Lonnie gulped when she saw her mother standing there with a dark look on her face before she changed into Malificent which had Mal back peddling into Jay’s chest. The individual changes form. Killian stepped forward, “Crocodile, it’s been a while!”. The Crocodile changed into its original form as he held a sleeping baby in his arms, Killian advanced forward only to be slammed with magic making him crash into the table. Harriett and Anthony quickly helped him up.
