Chapter 15

The next morning…

Uma was the first to awaken, call it by nature or just due to her being a captain most of her life she didn’t mind. She just preferred to get up and ready for the morning. She knows there is no time in Neverland but they were going by Auradon time so the clock read 08:00. An hour until they were needed to go downstairs, she heard the bathroom door close, she met the eyes of Gil who was fully dressed. Quietly he told his stomach to settle down, she giggled to herself at her lover’s actions. He had grabbed her clothes when he went for his leaving them piled neatly on a chair next to the others. Uma smiled at him, she passed him with a quick kiss to the cheek and quietly shut the bathroom door.

Gil sat on the windowsill watching the sun rise in the distance, he smiled to himself when a memory came to surface.

“Get out of this house, you are a disgrace to our family. You will never return here again, you understand me boy, you will…” Gaston never got to finish the sentence as an apple hit the back of his head and a roof collapsed on him. It gave a young boy time to run away from his horrible abusive father.

Gil ran as fast as his little legs could carry him as he heard the angry shouts of his older brothers chasing after him, a hand shot out of a nearby alleyway. Pulling him in and covering his mouth as the two older boys ran passed him. After a few minutes of silence, the hand was taken away from his mouth. Gil turned around to see a young boy dressed in a red coat with a black eye while holding an apple in his hand. The boy offered the apple which Gil gladly accepted. “The names Harry Hook, wanna join my crew?”. “My names Gil Gas.. em Gil”. Gil laughed and nodded in thanks. “How about Gil Hook?” Gil beamed as he quickly hugged Harry who gasped in shock before hugging back. Gil smiled at him. Harry smiled back at him as he led their way through the alley stealing food at the same time. Gil scrambled to catch up to the agile crazy kid, who would become his best-friend in the years to come.

Tears fell silently down his face as he remembered meeting his brother for the first time, they were about the age of 7. Gil didn’t realise how young Harry was until he found out Harry was younger than he said he was. He was never going to tell anyone that a 5 year old had saved his life, he would never live it down. Arms wrapping around his waist made him look down, he was brought into a kiss by Uma, his lover. Uma sat against his chest while they watched the sunrise. “What are you thinking about Gil?” not using any nicknames as that was Harry’s thing. “I was remembering the first time I met Harry?” he smiled thinking back to it. “What the time you got saved by a 5 year old?” she laughed at his pout, “Shh!”. It only made her laugh more but still quiet for the room's occupants.

“You got saved by a five year old, haha!” Jay laughed when he overheard their conversation. Gil pouted, glaring at Jay who was standing just behind them fully dressed with his beanie on. “Shh!” Gil insisted, “Don’t tell anyone”. Jay surprised the two as he said, “It’s alright Harry’s already threatened me about it, my lips are sealed” still laughing. He slowly woke the girls up so they could get ready. They all agreed to leave the pup last.

A knock on the door had the girls scrambling into the bathroom and grabbing their clothes. Jay was still laughing, Gil had tackled him to the floor leaving Uma to get the door. Avoiding the tumbling boys wrestling on the floor. Uma opened the door to inwardly groan at the two people on the other side of the door who shoved their way past her.

Jane and Lonnie stood in shock at the boys on the floor, the two in pastel dresses. As their clothes were currently hanging up. “Ahem!” Lonnie shouted. The boys stopped their wrestling and the girls exited the bathroom ready for the day. Uma looked unimpressed at the two Auradon kids who just entered without permission into the room, so much for manners. “You're late, it's 10:00am. We have some guests downstairs who require your attention” Jane spoke clearly, not wanting to be in the room with them all. Lonnie looked at Jay as she shook her head. None of the villain kids moved so Lonnie did the worst thing, Slamming a chair on the ground made a huge bang, making everyone jump in the room. Carlos jumped up in fright shaking in fear at the loud noise. Evie rushed quickly to his side to calm him down. 

Lonnie and Jane were satisfied by the group getting their message, opening the bedroom door only to take a step back. Thomas appeared on the other side dressed in his pirate attire. A bit identical to his twins with the exception of it being navy. He glared at the two as he continued his journey to Diego’s room.

The door shut with a few curses coming from Gil’s mouth. When he stopped he looked up to notice everyone staring, “What?”. They shook their heads in a nothing gesture. Gil smiled as he had caught them all off guard, all thanks to a special brother who taught him exactly how to do it. None of the Vk’s moved out of the room until Carlos came back from the bathroom, and waited on Evie sorting Carlos' hair out. Which took another 10 minutes. But none of them were bothered, knowing Hades he would be happy they were running late.

Eventually after half an hour since Lonnie and Jane had left, they were all ready. Thomas was lucky enough to lead them all downstairs in the direction they were heading. Carlos was riding on Jay’s back the whole way, he didn’t have any interest in walking and Jay didn’t mind at all. It also provided a type of entertainment for the others. Gil and Jay actually had a great general conversation with Thomas to try and cheer up the mood. The group entered the room only to inwardly groan as the occupants sat at the table. Mal felt like screaming as she took in the room.
