Mason had been coming to Levi's place for the past three days but time and again he was refused by the house keeper saying Levi was either unavailable or resting. Relentless he came each day, Levi's pleads springing him up every morning.

Parking his car at the driveway of his former PA's home, unable to gather his thoughts or himself, he waited while folding his arms over the steering wheel.

Mason knew that coming here would be fruitless yet somewhere deep in his heart a spark of hope of meeting Levi stayed lit. He still kicked himself for hurting him though he had all rights, after all it was his son whom Levi tried to kidnap.

Mason's mind swirled with Levi's past doings. He felt he shouldn't bother with him as it was because of him his sister had lost her life. Still he can't seem to really push him out of his mind.

The point of taking revenge on him turned out to be a total disaster. Not only did he lose ample amount of money but his dormant feelings had started to resurface. Even now he punishes himself for hurting Levi unknowingly.

Shouldn't have kicked him. God! What got into you Mason? You even slapped him for damn's sake!

He scoffed on thinking about his revenge. Some revenge he had planned.

Couldn't bear to handle beating him yet set out to break him.

Lost in his musings, he jumped in surprise when a dog barked at his car down the street. Looking through the windshield he saw the owner of the dog trying to control him as it continued to bark.

Mason took a dee breathe before exiting his car, locking it and proceeding to ring up the bell. Fingers crossed at his side, he waited with a stoic face for someone to answer.

Unsurprisingly it was the house maid. Well he should better get himself acquainted with her if he plans to come here daily. However just as his mouth opened, the short lady on the other side of the door answered with a crisp reply, "Sir is busy."

Nothing was out of order, the maid would then slam the door shut at his face without even bothering to exchange any pleasantries nor hearing whether he had to say any further. Thinking about made him to huff in frustration but the reality was a bit different.

Not that the door didn't slam shut on his face, it did. However the thing which changed was a crumpled paper rapidly yet discretely thrusted into his palms before the door closed with "leave" order.

Mason stood in shock, looking down at his closed fist and hurried to his car to get away. Something in him was telling to leave the premises soon before anyone catches him. So he didn't stop till he reached his work place. Even then he didn't pause to greet anyone, simply rushing to his office and sitting at his desk after securely locking the door.

He could feel his heart beating at an abnormal pace. Taking huge gulps of air into his lungs before proceeding to open the crumpled piece of paper with shaky hands.

His sweating didn't subside after reading the four lines written on the paper.

Come at noon tomorrow.

Shut down power completely.

Go down to the basement.

No one shall see you.

Looking over the words at once didn't make much sense. However pondering upon the events that had occurred with Levi for the past few days made Mason sense an emergency. He started fiddling with the crumpled mess as he struggled to make out some sense from the instructions written.

Does the maid want him to meet up with Levi in secret? Is he being watched? Is he not allowed to meet with his ex-boss? Or is it Levi who asked the maid to deliver the message? If it is so, why does Levi want to meet him in the basement?
