"Are you serious?" Akashi asked me the moment he saw me trying to sneak out of the warehouse where we are supposed to hold our meeting.
I immediately crouched even more and turn back to the direction of the others to see if they also saw me, thankfully they didn't. I then turned back to Akashi who's obviously pissed at the moment.
"I have to pick up the flowers I ordered." I told him and then started sneaking out again. I was pulled back by my shirt, stopping me in my tracks.
"Again? When are you gonna stop?" He asked me, sighing in defeat before letting me go a bit harshly. "Whatever, I don't care." He said and clicked his tongue before turning his back at me. I gave him a quick pat at the back as thanks and continued on my way.
I hummed as I examine the bouquet of roses in my hands. This will definitely work. Thankfully I was able to eavesdrop that Mina-chan likes roses. I'm so sure she'll accept this and definitely fall in love with my awesomeness, I mean who wouldn't at this point?
I pat myself on the shoulder, grinning like the proud man I am, before I jog towards the direction of the park where the place she works at is located. I stood beside a tree away from their tent, trying to spot if she's there. Thankfully there's no people around there yet and I can already spot her beautiful face even from afar.
She's sitting in front of her desk, fanning herself while she reads a newspaper. I took a deep breath and started walking towards her. As I get closer and closer, I begin to notice how it's actually just her inside. Yes! This is the best timing ever! I'm really gonna win this battle for sure!
"Mina-chan!" I called her name and wave my hand while the one holding the bouquet is hidden behind me. She looked up from her newspaper and smiled at the sight of me.
Oh look at that smile! I'm gonna melt! She really is a gift from heaven!
"Hey, you're here again." She greeted me back, standing up from her seat. "Are you gonna buy a book again? Or are you donating this time?" She asked with her hands clasped together. I shake my head, already feeling the warmth surfacing on my cheeks. Alright, calm down now my body.
"Actually, neither of those two." I said, clearing my throat after as I prepare myself. She raised her eyebrows, waiting for me to speak up
"Mina-chan..." I took deep breaths and was about to speak again when her phone suddenly started ringing.
"Oh, hold on." She said and grabbed her phone, pretty excitedly, a different smile showing on her lips.
