"I promise when I come back... I'll be one hell of a doctor by then."
"And I promise when you come back... I'll put a fucking ring on this finger."

You know that moment when the princesses in movies wake up because of the sun hitting their face and the birds chirping and all that? Turns out that doesn't happen to fairytales only. I woke up the exact same way and it feels like I just woke up from a fairytale.
I have my back on Shinichiro, his arms wrapped around my waist. I can also feel his little snores on my neck. Everything that happened last night came running back in my mind. Instead of feeling embarrassed I feel happy. I'm happy to be with him.
I shifted and turned around so I can face him. He let out a small groan, pulling me closer to him. I just stared at his sleeping face, a smile resting on my lips. I stayed like that for a while, smiling while watching him sleep.
I tried my best not to wake him up but eventually he woke up. He opened his eyes carefully like a newborn child, looking a little drowsy.
"Good morning." I greeted him through a smile and then planted a kiss on his cheek. He blinked multiple times trying to digest what is going on.
His eyes opened completely and now I am sure he is fully awake. "Fuck." He muttered out and then buried his face on my shoulder. "Fuck, I'm sorry." He apologized.
"What? Don't apologize." I said and pushed him so I can see his face. "I would have stopped you if I didn't like it, and I know you'll stop if I asked you but I didn't, so no need for an apology." I explained and raised both my eyebrows while I wait for his reply.
A sigh left his lips before he went back to hugging me and burying his face on my shoulder. I hugged him back, running my hands gently up and down his back.
"You feel so soft against me." He whispered. "I like it."
I pressed my lips together, suppressing a laugh from coming out before answering him. "And you feel the opposite of that." I whispered back, beaming like an idiot after.
It took him a moment before he understood what I meant. His arms around me immediately loosened and he started rolling back to the other side of the bed, which ended with him falling on the floor. I chuckled at his response, gathering the blanket towards me, covering myself from the cold now that his warmth isn't near me.
"God, I'm so sorry (Y/N)." He breathed out through his hands that are covering his face. I chuckled even more at his words.
"Get up here, it's cold down there." I told him, patting the empty space in the bed where he used to be. He turned to me, peeking through his fingers.
