CHAPTER 26

Jimin decided to live back with Minjeong. Of course, Minjeong was the one who asked. Jin helped her with the moving. It's been 3 weeks since she moved back.

Minjeong decided shut the basement and all the access to the secret room. she left some space for storage. Jin nailed the last plank of wood on the door to the corridor.

"okay. It's all closed." Jin wiped his forehead. "are you sure about this?"

"I can't look at blood anymore. This room will be useless." Minjeong walked back to the main floor while Jin cleaned up the tools.

Jimin saw Minjeong walked out from one of the corridors.

"I made dinner." Jimin greeted her with a smile.

Minjeong sat on the chair and wonder why there's so much food.

"Yujin will be here. I invited her."

"oh..." Minjeong grabbed a plate. "what's the occasion?"

"nothing. I just think this mansion is to empty for both of us." Jimin sat down and waited.

Minjeong stayed silent for a while.

"Jin!" Minjeong called out. Jin quickly walked to them. "eat with us."

"it's okay. I can eat outside, miss."

"sit." Minjeong commanded with a stern voice.

Jin just followed and sat one seat away from her.

"Ayo! Thanks for inviting me!" Yujin came in and sat beside Jimin. She then took one plate and helped herself, filling her plate with food.

Minjeong shook her head and sighed. Jimin giggled at her. they all started to eat peacefully.

"you're finished?" Yujin asked Jin. "there's still so much food left."

"it's okay. I'll save it for tomorrow." Jimin said then saw Jin stood up.

"thank you for the meal. Excuse me." Jin bowed then walked out of the mansion.

"can I come tomorrow? I didn't know you can cook." Yujin leaned back, feeling full. "I want you to live with me just to cook for me."

"you wish." Minjeong said to her.

"what's wrong with sharing? You always share with me." Yujin pouted. She then looked back and forth to Minjeong then Jimin. "are you guys... girlfriends?"

"what?" Minjeong thought how her friend got the nerve to say such thing in front of Jimin. "I really wanna kick you out."

Meanwhile, Jimin chocked on her water.

"you think I didn't notice Jimin wearing your shirt?" Yujin laughed at both of them. "let's smoke." Yujin walked to the backside of the mansion.

Minjeong looked at Jimin who's started to clean up the table.

"it's okay. Go." Jimin said to her. Minjeong then walked out to meet Yujin.

"sit down." Yujin took a puff. "how are you?"

"I'm good." Minjeong lit up one cigarette and huffed the smoke. "you still in that old rented place?"

"yeah. Thanks to you I'm able to pay on time." Yujin smiled and nudged her arm.

"why don't you move here?" Minjeong offered.

"why? You already live with her." Yujin got taken aback by the sudden offer. She can easily take it but she didn't know what she did. kinda scared thinking Minjeong had some plans to skin her alive.

"I won't do anything to you. it's okay if you don't want to." Minjeong thought that if Yujin lives here, she'll make the place livelier.

"okay." Yujin shook it off. "are you sure you're not in a relationship with her?"

"will you shut up about it?" Minjeong got irritated. She does like Jimin. Not like as a lover. She just simply like her.

"I won't tell her that you like her."

Other days just passed. Minjeong didn't get any nightmares thanks to Jimin sleeping with her, but, she didn't get any good dreams either. Her stress level is still stuck in its place.

Minjeong typed aggressively on her computer.

"you'll break your fingers." Lia put a cup of coffee on her desk.

"thanks." Minjeong sipped her coffee. "what time is the meeting?"

"at one. So in about two hours."

Minjeong nodded and walked to the couch. She decided to take a short nap.

"Jeong. The clients are here." Lia woke her up.

Minjeong sat up and made herself presentable by tidying her clothes.

The meeting started not too smooth. Minjeong realized she needs to improve her company. only two out of five clients willing to invest on her company. when the meeting ended, she stayed in the room and reread the files.

Meanwhile, Jimin got called by one of the people from the shareholders.

"you're Yu Jimin, right?" the man asked. "this is Mark. He'll taught you some stuff to improve your division."

"nice to meet you." Jimin smiled at him and shook his hand.

"I have my other workers on the other divisions. Minjeong should pay more attention to her company." the man informed and left them.

"I'm Mark. I hope we can work well."

Minjeong walked in to the mansion followed by Jimin.

"we have a new additions of workers from Nam company. they'll help us to improve some things." Minjeong informed Jimin.

"I've met one of them. It's Mark." Jimin sat down and stretched her legs. "he's smart. I'm sure your company will go well."

"his workers are smart. I took the offer. But, when we finally know what to do, they'll go back. no big deal." Minjeong said to Jimin but the last part was more to herself. Her brain was more than capable to take care of the company but her mental needs to be fixed.

"you'll do great, Jeong." Jimin gave her a smile.

"I hope so."
