CHAPTER 12

Jimin called Hansol a few times. He didn't pick up like he usually did. She gave up. She decided to went to his house.

"he never told me anything. he said he's working." Hansol's mother told Jimin. "he didn't even finish his college. He dropped out 3 months ago."

Jimin couldn't believe her ears. Two days ago, he said that he's almost done with his thesis.

Then the door opened. Hansol froze at the sight.

"Jimin." He greeted. "hey." He smiled at her.

"shut it. I don't want to hear any more lies from you." Jimin stood up and walked to the door.

"I wanna work for us, babe. Please let me explain." Hansol grabbed her wrist. Jimin turned around. She still loves the boy dearly.

"I was working for a friend. I can save up some money for us to get married. You still want that, right?"

"you can just tell me. why do you have to lie?" Jimin drew her hand back. "what's the point of your work when you lied about it? Is it illegal?"

"what? No!" Hansol made up another lie.

"we should take a break." Jimin then left him.

Minjeong got tired of listening to Hansol.

"will you shut up about her?" Minjeong huffed.

"I just don't understand, Win..." Hansol punched the punching bag that Yujin held. "did I do anything wrong?"

"wow. I can't believe how dumb you are."

"you lied to her, you didn't finish you college, and you work illegally." Yujin grabbed a towel. "that's disappointing."

"but I did it for us! She won't understand."

"you want me to help you get her back?" Minjeong offered.

"last time you helped me, I lost my bike. So, no thanks."

"alright."

Minjeong then left after some time. she called Jimin on her way to the parking lot.

She then arrived at her house. she parked her bike and knocked on the door.

"what do you want?" Jimin greeted her coldly.

"I'm here as a friend." Minjeong pushed the door and let herself in. "and I supposed you just went through a heartbreak."

"did he told you?" Jimin sat across her.

"you can say it like that."

Jimin sighed and stayed quiet.

"do you wanna work for me again?" Minjeong offered.

"I'm happy where I am." Jimin almost forgot that Minjeong came out of the blue. "do you need anything else? I'm tired."

"you can just sleep. I'll stay here for a bit." Minjeong leaned back and played with her phone.

Jimin left her and went to her room.

"Minjeong." Jimin woke her up.

Minjeong then opened her eyes and looked around. She then stood up and stretched.

"get ready I'll take you to work." Minjeong put on her leather jacket and walked out the house. she then got into her car and started it.

After some time, Jimin came out and went in.

Minjeong ignored the fact that Jimin didn't bother to tie her hair. She just smiled at her and drove to her company.
