Minjeong kept pushing Jimin away from her. no matter how many times Jimin tried, the only words that came from Minjeong were 'get out' or 'leave me alone'.

"let's go. It's been a week. You need to get those cuts checked." Lia entered Minjeong's room.

"don't I deserve to die?" Minjeong looked outside her window.

"stop talking nonsense. Let's go." Lia then left the room.

After some time, Minjeong walked downstairs. She then got out of the mansion and sat on the backseat of the car. Jin drove and Lia was on the passenger seat.

-

"you should take care of it more often." Irene gave her a prescription. "this is a big wound. I hope that someone helped with the recovery."

"thank you, ma'am." Lia responded.

After a long appointment, they went home. Minjeong walked in alone since Jin had to take Lia to the company.

"we need to talk."

Minjeong saw Jimin on the living room. she ignored her and walked straight to the stairs.

"Minjeong!" Jimin shouted.

Minjeong stopped her step. She turned around and walked to the living room, sitting down in front of Jimin.

"I just talked to Hansol's mom." Jimin started. "she wanted you to be responsible for his death."

"how much?" Minjeong played with her phone. "I'll transfer it."

"you didn't come to the funeral. Give her a visit." Jimin leaned back. "then, I won't bother you anymore."

Minjeong looked up at Jimin. She then sighed at the words she just said.

"I'll go tomorrow." Minjeong then stood up and went to her room.

Minjeong took off her shirt and stood in front of a tall mirror. She looked at her own shoulder. She touched the newly changed band-aid and sighed.

"you killed him."

Minjeong looked at the mirror. Instead of herself, her mother came into view. She then fell back as her mother came out of the mirror. All details were clear to Minjeong's eyes. a hole forming on the woman's forehead. She wore a night gown that she wore the night she was killed. That gown turned red as she walked towards her. blood started dripping from her gown, staining her carpet floor.

"you killed another man." The mother said as the hole on her forehead secretes a red liquid all over her face. She then smiled widely, showing all of her sharp teeth

"I didn't! I swear I didn't, mom!" Minjeong crawled back when she saw her mother getting closer with her hands extending. She curled up into a ball and tried to cover her eyes and ears.

"a bad girl deserves to be punished!"

"no! I'm sorry!" Minjeong stayed in her position for a while. The voices were still there. She refused to move from her place.

Jimin busted the door open. She saw Minjeong on the floor, trembled and shaking on her own.

"Jeong?" Jimin kneeled beside her and touched her shoulder. "hey, calm down."

"get away from me! I'm not a killer!" Minjeong couldn't hear Jimin properly.

Jimin then pulled Minjeong's arms and helped her get up. She then sat Minjeong on the bed.

Minjeong tugged her blanket and covered herself. Jimin can see her shaking under the blanket.

-

Jimin came to the mansion after work. She went to the kitchen and made dinner for Minjeong.

"Jeong... you have to eat." Jimin came in to her room and put the tray on the bedside table. She saw Minjeong still under the blanket. She shook her to wake her up.

"leave."

"eat first. Then, I'll leave."

Minjeong came out of her cover. She looked at the food on the table and took the drink first. She then eats in silence with Jimin still sitting beside her.

"I'm done, you can leave."

"when will you stop pushing people out of your life?" Jimin sighed at her.

"I don't need your pity." Minjeong scoffed at her. "I know you did this for something. You're a liar."

"you're unbelievable." Jimin then left her alone.

Minjeong looked outside and lit one cigarette to smoke. Minjeong sat on her window pane.

"bestfriend!" Yujin barged into her room.

"hey..."

"you didn't come to the funeral, what happened?" Yujin laid on the bed.

"I fell asleep."

"hm... let's go out. they have a match tonight." Yujin said with a smile.

Minjeong couldn't blame Yujin for her behaviour. She didn't know what happened to her these pasts of few months after she killed Dongwook. Not that she wants to tell her.

"I can't. I'm tired."

"okay. Can I stay here?" Yujin walked to her and took one cigarette from the pack beside her.

"did you do something?"

"no, nothing. I just missed you. You seem a little off. Are you sure you're okay?"

"I'm fine, Yujin. Why do you care anyway?" Minjeong got irritated. She's not used to the affection that her friends showed her.

"of course, I care. you're my friend. My only friend, I guess."

"really? You don't need anything?" Minjeong raised her eyebrow. "last time I checked you only come when I have someone to kill or there's a contest."

"huh? Did I?" Yujin scratched her head. "well, I don't need anything right now."

Minjeong went to her bed and laid down. Soon enough, she fell asleep.
