DEREKS POV:

I take the passcode off my phone and slide it under the door as I hold his so he can text his phone.

"We need to talk about this stiles and your right I shouldn't have to keep anything from you... this relationship is two way. No more hiding things... but stiles the reason I leave the room is because incase you wanna watch a show I don't wanna be the interruption."

He texts his phone sending me a ss of the number that I've been calling.

Who is that.

I sigh "it's Brayden."

He quickly slides my phone back under angrily. He quickly opens the door standing looking up at me.

You're ex!

"Did you want me to lie and try to hide it?" I ask upset

You cheater! You.

"Stiles it's not like that."

You're no better than Damon! You... you betrayed me.

Tears fill my eyes "no I'm not!"

Stay away from me... he walks away.

"Stiles no it's not like that."

You liar! You hid her from me took her out of your contacts and walked out of the room! How long?!

"She got a new phone. Stiles I swear I'm not cheating on you."

Because that is exactly what that looks like.

I run my hands through my hair "how do you want me to prove it stiles?! What do you want from me!?"

He looks at me scared of the yelling when he can't fight back.

At the moment nothing.

I walk over to him cupping his face gently looking in his eyes "listen to my heart."

I don't know how it just happens Derek I can't!

I look at Scott "listen to my heart."

"I don't wanna get inv-"

"SCOTT GOD DAMN IT!" He sighs and stiles watches me as I look back at him.

"I'm not cheating on you stiles Stilinski. You are the best part of my life. You're something I wouldn't even risk giving up."

Stiles looks at Scott "he isn't lying..."

"Because it's the truth."

I want you to leave me alone right now.

"Stiles... we need to talk." He shakes his head "please stiles." I whisper looking at him he can tell something is wrong. He looks away thinking.

I watch the tears run down his face and he signs to Lydia. Give us a moment alone please.

She nods pulling Scott, Allison, and Isaac along with herself out of the room. I lock the door and sit on the edge of the bed. To my surprise he sits next to me his legs open. His arms resting on his legs as his hands are folded between them.

"Stiles if I were cheating on you. I would have deleted the calls from my history... I wouldn't have just told you the truth."

I can't believe you.

I sigh "stiles you might think she makes me happy but Scott just listened to my heart. It's the truth. Another truth is no one makes me smile like you do. I'm not happier with anyone else besides you. You taught me it's ok to let my guard down. You taught me it's ok to open up."

He shrugs. Tears slide down his face. "She has been calling me because she is tracking something. Something big on its way here and if I can stop it before it gets here. I am going to do that."

What do you mean I. What ever it is you shouldn't go at it on your own.

"I have to. If it means keep you safe... and Noah, Melissa, Scott, the pack, your family, and friends then yes stiles I am."

Then I'll come with you.

"You don't know your senses yet and I already almost lost you once. I can't do that again baby."

Is that why you been hiding this because your being protective of me?

"Im always being protective of you babe." I say and put out my hand. He rolls his eyes placing his hand in mine. I smile and fondle his hand as he lays his head on my shoulder and I lay mine on his.

"You stiles Stilinski taught me how to love." I smile gently and he smiles looking at me

I swear to god if you are cheating I will kill you myself.

I smirk "I'll let you." He blushes rolling his eyes

STILES POV:

5 months pass I've been going to speech therapy secretly. Derek doesn't know because I wanna surprise him. I just keep signing I'm not ready yet.

I'm sitting on the couch reading a letter because I got accepted to the FBI. I have to go for training for 3 months and then I can see if I can get transferred back down here.

I'm scared because the fact that I won't know what Derek does while I'll be gone. I believe him but will he bring Brayden here while I'm gone? In our bed?

I put the letter back in the envelope when he walks over

"What's that."

Its nothing.

"Sure looks like nothing let me see."

No I said it's nothing

He smirks crouching down in front of me "now who is keeping secrets?"

I sigh and hand him it and he kisses my forehead. I watch him sit next to me on the couch and open it.

I watch him read it and he smiles "stiles this what you worked for I'm so proud of you." He smiles real big and that breaks my heart. I look away.

"Ok but your not that happy about it. What is it what's wrong?"

I'm scared of what might happen if I go and I'm  away from you. I believe your not cheating Derek. But the thought of her coming here... it makes me sick... she manage to steal you from me once before we were dating. Who is to say she won't do it again while we are.

"I am stiles. I am to say and I promise I won't let that happen and I keep my promises."

I nod gently and snuggle into him
