Encore rubbed his snout into a sleepy Zuke. The bristles on his tongue scraped Zuke's jade skin. Zuke groaned with sleep and rested on both his elbows.

Upon adjusting, he saw the sun was partially swallowed by the clouds. Every now and then the sun would shine, only to be blotted out by clouds in seconds.

Zuke, now fully awake, tapped the wooden boards of Mayday's bunk. "May! C'mon, get up!" Mayday too woke up feeling groggy. "Hrmm, Zuke. Why'd you wake me up? I was so close to finishing my dream."

"Your dream can wait. We have to buy more flash bombs today, remember?"

Mayday climbed out of her bunk. "Oh, yeah. Right." Spot was still snuggled within the sheets.

BBJ got their armor and headed into separate areas within the modernized hut--Mayday in the bathroom, Zuke still in their sleeping quarters. From there, they slipped out of their comfy pajamas and into their exquisite--or in Mayday's definition, revealing--armor.

When they finished dressing, they equipped themselves with their weapons. Zuke opened his savings. "How much do flash bombs cost again?"

"I don't remember."

Zuke sighed. "Well, guess I'll have to take all of it, just in case." He scooped all his silver zenny from his little "bank" and stuffed them in his pocket. "Alright, let's go."

From their hut they headed to the open air market located in the Natura District—this is the only district that has markets. All hunters from other districts must travel here to get what they need.

"You think we might be short on zenny?"

"I highly doubt it."

Since it was raining last night, it made Vinyl Village—slightly—humid, especially Natura. Not to mention muddy puddles and wet benches. At least the flora got their hydration intake.

Zuke panned the open air market for the stand that sells hunting equipment. Among them were vendors selling fresh fish and artisans displaying their handicrafts. Those stands were irrelevant to him.

"May, I found it!"

"Where-WOAH!" Zuke snatched Mayday's hand and dragged her to that stand so suddenly.

Upon arrival at the stand, there was nobody. Zuke looked around, confused. There was always a vendor here. Perhaps they were out today.

A familiar figure strutted into the stand—white hair, blue skin and black eyes. BBJ's faces lit up like fireflies.

"Redtex!"

"Good morning, artists." Redtex said. "I'm assuming you're here to purchase goods?"

"Why yes!"  Mayday nodded. "But seeing you here is kinda unexpected. Don't you usually just linger around other districts?"

"Yeah. Since when did you sell hunting equipment?"

"This here stand," Redtex started. "Has a different vendor every week. Last week was Joey. Next week will be Gigi, I think."

"Oh." Zuke blinked. "Well anyway, we're here to buy more flash bombs. You have any?"

Redtex hummed. "Hmm, let me see—ah!" He pulled out a crate of small black balls. "Our newest shipment of flash bombs! How many are you buying?"

"Um," Zuke remembered he had only one flash bomb left. "I'll take three more please." Redtex picked three flash bombs from the crate. "Alright, that'll be fifty zenny."
