-CHAPTER TWELVE: Natura Arena-

"Great work, hunters!" Tatiana praised. Her gaze then fell upon Eve with a slight scowl. "And Eve," she said, grabbing the bicolored woman's attention. "May I talk with you for a second?"

The others exchanged looks, as if they knew what would happen to Eve. The woman sighed and a lump formed in her throat. She walked to Tatiana with a low gaze.

"Eve, just what do you think you were doing out there?" Tatiana scolded, using a slightly harsher sounding tone than she expected.

"What?"

"You were sparing the Khezu!"

"Oh, right. That."

"What you did out there was completely uncalled for. We are hunters—we slay monsters, not befriend them. Do you understand?"

"I don't think she was trying to be friends with it, Tatiana. I think she was trying to fuck it."

"Zimelu!"

"I'm sorry, Tatiana," Eve said. "I didn't intend for that to happen, but something wierd just occurred, honestly!"

"Tatiana, I don't think you understand the real reason Eve couldn't kill the Khezu." Kliff slid down the lookout post. Tatiana gave him a confused look. "What do you mean that I don't understand?"

"Well, how do I explain this?" Kliff sighed. "You see, Tatiana, many if not all girls have a hard time fighting a Khezu because, well," Kliff hesitated and sighed. "Khezus look, a little..."

"What? What is it about them that makes them so difficult for girls?"

"They look, a little bit," Kliff pursed his lips. "Phallic."

Tatiana looked more confused than before. "What do you mean?"

"It means girls can't fight Khezus because they look like cocks!"

"Zimelu!"

Tatiana pondered Kliff's words for a moment before she understood what he meant. Her pale face turned pink with realization.

"Oh." Tatiana held her hand to her mouth. "Well, then, let's all go back to our districts. We've successfully repelled the horde from Akusuka."

As the hunters were departing, BBJ lingered around for a second. Mayday was gawking at the carnage in front of her.

"Do you see this shit, Zuke?" Mayday beckoned to the still bodies. "Look at all this dead meat here! It looks like an open butcher shop! We could have a barbecue to feed the whole city with that amount of meat!"

"But the meat's not edible though," Zuke gave the carcasses a disgusted side glance as he was turning his back to head out. "It's all gonna rot in the sun if someone doesn't come to clean it." Zuke said. "Come on, May. We need to go."

"Well, there goes our barbecue." Mayday sighed and caught up with Zuke.

The hunters had already long gone left the stronghold. They all mounted their palamutes and rode off to their districts.

"When we get back home, I'm scrubbing your mouth out with soap, young man!" Neon J scolded the red android.

Zimelu sighed. "Yes sir."

The Next Day...

BBJ had gotten ready for the day as usual to go on a quest. They were going to the Gathering Hub when Tatiana had came on the billboards yet again.

"People of Vinyl City, this is Tatiana. Just a friendly reminder that today Yinu will have her arena battle in Natura Arena at noon. Be there or be square, as Yinu had told me. That is all, and have a pleasant morning."
