" Hey look! It's snowing!"
Eliz shouted while pointing her finger towards the window. Me, Zack, Leo and Blake simultaneously turned around and started to look at the window. the street now slowly covered with thin layer of snow coming down from the sky.
" Come on, Zack! I want to touch the snow!"
" Wait! I need to pay this first!"
Eliz tried to drag Zack out of the shop but he insisted since he didn't pay for the bread he's buying. Without wasting any of her time, she went out alone bearing a big smile on her face.
" Your girlfriend is really cheerful, wasn't she?"
" Uhmm you can say that ahahah.... Just keep the change."
" Thank you."
Zack quickly grab the paper bag containing the bread and headed out to get beside Eliz.
Suddenly I felt someone pulled my left sleeve. I turn around to see Blake puffed her cheeks, pouting.
" What's wrong, Blake? Have you picked the bread you wanted?"
" That's not it."
" Oh!"
She clings on my arm while staring on the window. When I think about it, we've never enjoyed our winter in Vale. Before this, every time winter hits Vale, we always came up with another mission under the White Fang. And mostly it always ended up with blood bath.
" Just go out with her, man. I'll pay for your bread."
" You sure?"
" 100%"
" I owe you, man."
Leo just winked at me then turned around, facing the cashier. With Blake still clinging on my left arm, I walked out of the bakery. The unconditioned cold air immediately touches my cheeks. But the coldness can not make me shivers in a matter of seconds since I'm wearing my winter uniform given by the academy. At the side of the main road, Zack watches Eliz spinning around on the road, laughing her hearts out. Some pedestrians around the road just looked at her behavior and some of them even followed her playful act.
" Eliz be more careful please!
" Hahahahaha! This is so much fun!"
She cheered. Suddenly, my left arm feels a little bit colder than before. Turning around, Blake no longer clinging on my arm. But instead of doing so, she's now trying to catch the falling snow. Some of the snow fell on her palm but they immediately melts away, turning into a drop of cold water.
" You wanna go play around with Eliz?"
" What? No!"
Blake looked at me with her face became bright red, flustered. She might be trying to hide her happiness of being able to enjoy the falling snow but her face can't hide her feelings away.
" You don't have to hide it. I know you want to."
" I'm not childish like her!"
She pouted. Looking at her acting like this, I immediately grab her hips with both of my hands then started to tickles them. With her guard lowered to almost nothing, she didn't have the chance to dodge my attack but instead she just tried her best to endure the torture.
" Hahahahaha! What are you doing!? Stop it! It tickles!!"
She struggles so hard to release herself from my grip. After a few seconds, I finally releases her. She dusts herself then punched my shoulder.
" Why would you do that for?"
" Just punishing you."
" For what?"
" For hiding what your feelings really wants."
She looked at me intently then finally let out a heavy sigh.
" Fine. But I will only do it if you'll go with me."
You looked at the road where people are playing around with each other under the snowing cloud. Then started to stretch myself.
