Chapter 7 - Back and Now

(Y/n)'s POV

The night sky shrouded by smoke. There is no more star or moon on anyone's eyes. The small village around Vale was attacked by the rebels, our rebellion. The White Fang. Women and children cry for help. Men were exhausted after a fight. I was there with Adam and the other brothers, raided the small village for one reason. Some of them work for Schnee.

" Is that enough?", I asked Adam. He stood on the ground with pride on his face. Even though his eyes covered with that mask, I know he's glanced at me.

" It's not even close to enough.", he answered. Suddenly, there is one guy ran towards both of you with a sword on his hand.

" DIE YOU FILTHY ANIMALS!!!", he screamed. Before he could swing his sword, Adam cut through his abdomen. His internal organs burst out of his body along with his blood.

" Where's the chief?", Adam asked after he sheaths his now crimson blade.

" I think he's still in his house. We got our brothers surrounded it and they said there's no movement in that house.", I answered. He looked in front of him, there's the biggest house in this village. 2 storied bungalow with a spiky end on the concrete wall around it. Adam sighed then look at me.

" Make sure he understands the cost of protecting the criminals.", he said. I walked towards the house. One of the brothers run towards me in a hurry.

" Brother (Y/n), this house is heavily secured. Their lock was unbreakable. Even Lieutenant's saw can't breakthrough.", he said.

" You all stay here. Wait if there's anyone who tried to go out of this house. I'm going in.", I said. All of the brothers nodded then keep on their positions. I quickly run to the wall then shot one of my hooks to the second floor of the house, letting me swing into the house's porch. I twisted the doorknob... It's not locked. When I entered the house. I saw one figured of a man on a couch. He then stood up when he heard my footsteps.

" I'm Hank Galloway. And you are...", he said.

" (Y/n). Do you know why I'm here?"

" Absolutely. I wanted to negotiate things with your boss. But things getting worst that you all destroyed this village.", he added. I became confused about what was he talking about. But I have to do my job.

" So you know what's the cost of that?", I asked. He nodded." And you're not gonna fight back?".

" What's the point? I'm still gonna die. But please... I'm begging you... I know you are good inside... Please spare my son and my wife... They are all I have in this world.", he said. Tears started to roll on both of his eyes.

" I... I...", My words stopped when Adam and the other brothers rushed in the house. They scattered around the house, covering every corner that existed.

" Search for anyone's hiding in this house! Don't let anybody lives.", Adam commands. Everybody followed his order except for me. Hank's tears started to fall. His tears stained the shirt he wears.

" Please!!! Take me!!! Let my wife and son live!!!", he screamed.

" Oh! You have some loved ones, huh?", Adam said. He smirked then started to look around for some hidden doors or something that can hide 2 of the missing individuals in the house.

" Adam! What were you thinking? You have what you want already! Let them go!", I shouted.

" What? So you wanna let them live? They don't deserve it! They should go with the man that bring despair to others!", Adam screamed.
